Recent Problem on Noise Cancellation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A year ago, I upgraded my Beats studio 2 wireless to this. It was a significant upgrade in both material and sound quality, and functionality. Noise cancellation is also much better than beats studio 2. So far It has been working great.
But recently sometimes when noise cancellation is turned on, an annoying humming like noise is heard on ride headphone. It is like a resonance sound, something like when you bring a microphone close to the speaker. For now I can bear with it since it does not always happen, and by switching off the noise cancellation it instantly goes away. However, if it becomes more frequent it will be a huge disappointment.
I will increase my rating to 5 stars once I resolve this. If it gets worse and some kind of software update would not solve it, 2 stars. If they fix/replace it under warranty still 3 stars, since they will make me go out and mail it, during the covid-19 lockdown.

Hi Kurt!
It's great to hear how much you have been enjoying the sound quality and noise cancellation on your headphones! I am also disappointed to hear that there has been a change when using noise cancellation!
From how you are describing this, it does sound like the microphones for noise cancellation may be producing feedback. This would usually occur if the ear cushions are not forming a tight seal on your head. The first thing to check would be that they are connected correctly. We have a guide that shows you how to attach them here: https://bose.life/2JzMT5G
I hope this helps! If you do need any further assistance please do reach out to us here as we'd love to get you back to loving your headphones! https://bose.life/2P7Tuqt

Useless for talking via phone or computer

I just bought this headset to use for talking on the phone and for dictation. Problem: plays all audio from mic through headphones. For example, it plays all my key strokes through the headset, and when on phone, it plays my voice through the speakers. Apparently, this is called "Sidetone" and according to the forums, it cannot be disabled. In short, these are only good for use as speakers. Very disappointed.

Great headphones, cord could be longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Bose fan. My previous headphones were AE2W, but the QC35II are even better. Sound is crisp and pure. Outside noise nearly non-existent. Only complaint, why the short cords. The charging cord is frustratingly short, so my headphones are dangling from the wall outlet while charging. Also, the cord connecting the headphones to my computer require me to get too close, so my head hangs over my desk as I'm watching a program.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had other head phones, this is my first Bluetooth and I love it. The sound is great and it really does cancel out room noise. Glad my wife bought them for me as a gift, though sometimes she realizes that I really can't hear her

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the these in September as a Birthday treat to Myself..Happy I did..they Have been Great..went for years using cheap in ear earphones..new 20$ pair every month..I listen to music and movies for like 14 hrs a day..so one could say I've been putting the QC35/11 to the test..haha..Super Comfortable..the noise cancelation is Great..doesn't block completely but Definitely makes most things Dissappear or at least tolerable..neighbors sanding at night, Goodbye..sea of coqui frogs, down to 1 in the distance.. Neighborhood New Years Eve Illegal fireworks now Tolerable..the Only reason I gave it 4 stars is the super short charging cable and the jack for cable on the headset..cable should be longer then like 12 inches and the jack is a fidgety connection..way Better connecton jacks today and for a Great headset as these Are this is its downside..which overall isn't a deal breaker..Totally Recommend to Anyone, Especially if you're like I was..Treat Yourself..
