Not What I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had "noise cancelling" headphones before and they actually cancelled the ambient noise. These are more "noise dampening" because they do not totally cancel the noise but they do dampen to a good enough extent. The audio quality is typical Bose and I'd give these 5 stars if the noise dampening were more complete.

It’s like a whole new world when I put them on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been saving up for these for a long time and had my doubts buying them because of the price. But I have no regrets. The sound quality is extremely crisp and once you’re wearing them, with music it’s like your in your own world. It really helps me to focus on homework without being distracted by outside noise. They are a little big for someone with a smaller head but that really doesn’t bother me. From the outside, the headphones (I got black) look fresh and sleek.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got them for Christmas to use with my iMac computer. They will not connect with a computer. They will connect with my iPhone and iPad. I have ear buds them because I don't want to lug around a large pair of ear phones. I am trying to find out if I can buy another type of connecter.

Sound quality disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after reading a bunch of good reviews, but i was disappointed with the sound quality. To me, it is neither here nor there. The bass is weak, and the treble is not confident. Orchestral/classical music gets muddy when many flutes play at once. They are extremely comfortable, and the noise cancellation is the best, but the sound quality is just not up to par. The Bluetooth connection is the headphone's weakest link. At merely 21 feet away, the audio begins to break up, and at 26 feet, audio stops entirely. This is absolutely terrible, as I cannot even walk into the next room without having my music die. Isn't that the point of "wireless" headphones? 1 thin wall just kills the music. I do enjoy how the Bose Connect app lets you change all the settings.
Bottom line: Only gonna use these for plane trips, nothing else.

amazing sound quality
