Great headphones, horrible headset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using my QC35 II headphones to listen to music and stream movies. However, they are NOT good at all when trying to use them as a headset at work. I often get complaints from people that I have calls with that they can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the background - typing, talking, etc. Very disappointed the QC35 II is not a better headset as that was one of the main reasons I purchased this product.

Good but struggles to connect sometimes

No doubt Bose is the leader when it comes to noise cancellation and sound quality. That said, sometimes you will find this headset frustrating as it struggles to connect to various sources. I have an iPhone, Mac and iPad, and when I have multiple devices enabled, I find it sometimes very frustrating. Bluetooth should enable me to connect to multiple devices and yet many times it will say it is connected but I hear no sound. Sometimes there is a 2-3 minute delay before I get sound and sometimes it never happens at all. Very frustrating experience wondering why this technology is so lacking. To be fair I have encountered this also with the AirPod pro, so my thinking is that this is more a deficiency of Bluetooth technology than the QC35 II.

For Music, Great; For Phone calls, Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for two reasons: listen to music/video and as a headphone for phone calls.
Outstanding sound quality for music/videos.
Terrible for phone calls. Ambient noise is amplified, making them unsuable except in quiet rooms, which defeats the purpose.
So, five stars for music/video, one star for phone calls = 3 stars overall.

Hello!
It's great to hear you have been enjoying the outstanding sound quality of your headphones and I'd be happy to help get your experience with calls to match that quality!
While on phone calls, the microphone is tuned to pick up typical frequencies of a human voice. It also automatically adjusts for softer or louder voices. If you feel yours are not doing this, please do reach out to us here as we would love to help! https://bose.life/2P7Tuqt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall sound quality and noise cancelling is great, but when ANC is on and volume is high lower frequencies are muted, this is very noticeable on techno/bass-heavy tracks, that is the reason i give 4stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these headsets, then I updated firmware to Version 4.5.2. Now they turn off randomly and turn back on. This is a known issue and Bose has not fix this for about a year now. If I would of known of the issue, I would of never updated. BEWARE OF BOSE LACK OF PROPER FIRMWARE UPDATES!

I bought my headphones around a year ago, and I was very pleased with the comfort and sound quality of the headphones. However, the rubber exterior of the headphones has started expanding, leaving rather ugly looking bumps in the headphones.

Price tag on these is quite high considering how unreliable the device is. I am having constant issues when pairing with Macbook and Iphone, sounds is braking, there is no sound even when pairing is sucesful. I don't knopw, overall these issues are very annoying so I can't say anything else. I won't say they have good sound, or greate noise cancalation when I can't use them when and how I want :(

Hey Miro,
It's a shame that you've not been able to benefit from the true experience of these headphones. I'd urge you to take a look at a post we've made on the Bose Community regarding Bluetooth connections to computers - https://bose.life/2H7zt0e.
Clearing the pairing list is also a great step to take. Please follow the steps here on how to do this - https://bose.life/2re6brW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First are foremost: These are the best headphones I've ever owned and they've more than paid for themselves on flights, a noisy office, and working in close quarters with my partner at home.
There's one thing I wish Bose would address in the future though: A more directioned, short-range microphone. The mic picks up conversations two rooms away in my house, and even picks up footsteps on carpet when I'm pacing while I talk (which is always how I talk when I'm working through an idea on the phone). It's odd to me that the mic wouldn't be just for things that are close up, since it's primarily used for talking. I went looking for USB microphones for an easy fix but I'd imagine this isn't a universal issue in microphones.
If a later model of this headphone comes out with a mic that doesn't pick up so much background noise, I'll buy it in an instant.
