Very powerful for a little blender. It mixes up a smoothie with ice in about 20 seconds. Definitely worth the extra money for a stronger motor. And, it is very easy to keep every component clean.

I have bought several magic bullets in the past and don't last past a year. The motor stops working and or they leak. Yes I know you are not suppose to over fill them and follow instructions but they still failed. I have bought 3 already and don't know if I want to buy another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
