I heard about the health benefits and convenience of smoothies so it was just a matter of which mini-blender I would need to buy. I took my time researching them online and watched the YouTube tutorials.
This NutriBullet came out on top and I an very happy with it thus far. It is very easy to use, low maintenance, and takes up very little space.
I heard a few horror stories from some reviewers that the lid leaked or the motor quit. I honestly suspect that some people do not know how to use it or take care of it.
The lid is NOT meant to be washed in super hot water nor should it ever be used to blend hot liquid. That will cause the gasket to leak, plain and simple.
Secondly, if it is overloaded with frozen contents and little to no water/liquid, the motor becomes stressed. This is common sense but some not everyone gets it.
With proper usage and simple maintenance, I hope to have my NutriBullet for at least a few years. This deserves 5 stars.

It is always leaking even though I measure exactly to the max fill line. It looks good and grinds everything up very well. When my blender broke, which I only used to make smoothies, I bought this instead. If I don’t turn it just right removing from base it leaks and is hard to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this for my wife a couple months back because our older, less expensive, non nutribullet blender had died. The difference is night and day. You can put so much more in the cup and be guaranteed that it will be blended completely. The unit is probably the easiest one to clean too. I had seen many reviews before, about other types of blenders, but this one seemed to score high. This one is truly a great purchase! I have found that i will now have a smoothie every day because of how smooth it gets(I'm picky about that). My 3 kids are also now asking for some because we can actually blend pretty much anything we want in there in under a minute. Dont go for a ninja version, this outperforms it easily.

Trying to get on a health kick and protein shakes are a must. Regular blender didn’t cut and high end blender was not an option. This is a really great little blender. Makes great smoothies and I use frozen fruit all the time. This was a great buy! So glad I got it.

I love my nutri bullet. I have had it a month. But I am starting to get what looks like condensation on the bottom side of the blender lid. I don’t overfill it. It looks kind of like green droplets, like the smoothie is leaking through the lid. I just wipe it off. The blender works well. Just hope it is not a sign of a problem down the road. Anybody else have this situation ?
One other thing is that the ribs inside the cup make it hard to clean.

I bought the Nutribullet Pro and I am loving it! Blends everything so smoothly. the only bad thing about it, its that the rubber seal that goes in the blade that's used for no spilling, it comes off. I had called customer service and lady did tell me that it should not come off I should receive a new replacement which I am waiting for. Other than that, it works great! Happy I purchased it! :)
