I've had this for about 1 month and am happy with how well it breaks down frozen fruits and greens. I wish the container and blades weren't so wide, as they are hard for me to grip to open (I'm 5'4" and don't think of myself as having particularly small hands though). I use protein powders and wish that there wasn't as many spots for things to get stuck in corners, which makes it harder to fully mix as well as clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing is a beast! It blends anything I throw at it, including nuts and grains! I don’t really use greens in my smoothies but I doubt it would have any trouble with those. I have zero complaints regarding the power or the ease of use, but there seems to be a flaw in the design of the blade - we aren’t supposed to remove the gasket but food particles do accumulate under it and cause mold. I’ve always cleaned the blade after every use with soapy water as instructed but it seems after using protein powder in the smoothies, some of that stays between the gasket and the plastic part causing mold to grow. Also, taking the gasket out for cleaning is extremely hard so I end up doing that maybe once a month. It’s a pain but I’ve already bought it and I’m happy with it otherwise. Maybe send me a dozen gaskets so I can throw out the moldy ones every month or so. Aside from this engineering flaw, the product is great!

I bought this a month ago and it leaked, they replaced it and screwing the blade assembly was squeaking, it was still leaking, but I guess it has to be worked in before it doesn't leak!
