I bought this a month ago after my handheld blender died. I really like this as it takes up very little space and is very fast. It is a bit loud, doesn't bother me, but my husband leaves the room. I use it for smoothies. We have a vita mixer but it is so heavy that I don't use it and because it is up in a cupboard and doesn't fit under the counter.

There is maybe too much hype about this blender. It is much more convenient than my old blender because it takes up less space on the counter and really just does one thing - make smoothies. But it's advertised to work so well that when I realized I really had to let it run for a while and shake It occasionally to get the frozen fruit blended properly, I was brought back to reality.

The one thing that could have made this a bit better is to have a small cup included so you wouldn't have to make another purchase.

Works great! But, as an adult woman with small hands, I find it extremely difficult to use. I can barely stretch my hand across the base. I have developed a method that involves hold in the slippery blending cup with a kitchen towel up against my chest while slowly trying to turn the base off. It is not easy. Don’t buy this if you lack upper body strength, patience, or have tiny hands.

My husband and I purchased our NB about a month ago. We try to eat a healthy diet anyway, but substituting a smoothie for breakfast each morning has added such a boost to our energy level. I love being creative and trying new fruit and veggie concoctions to see what we like the best. So far, we have only had one bad one and it was my fault, as I added pickled beets. Not a good idea! Otherwise, we are enjoying very much!!
