This Blender is great. It's powerful and blends what is a truly great smoothie texture. I subtracted two stars for two reasons:
Reason 1: The blender is super loud. If they built a silencer for this blender that one could cover it with, this blender would be amazing!
Reason 2: The blender needs to come with cups that have measurements on the side. That's a pretty simple fix.
However, fix reason number 1 and I would highly recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this blender specifically for travel. I wanted something relatively compact, but powerful to make protein shakes (with ice, water and protein powder) each morning. It blends it very well, the ice is pureed finely. Although it is heavy (because of the size of the motor), I find it to be worth it to give up some suitcase space for it. And it is super easy to use and very easy to clean. I have tried some other brands (Ninja) and they are a hassle to clean. This one is just 3 parts - the base, the cup and the top. I love this product!

I have owned numerous NutriBullets and this one (The Pro 900) is my most recent upgrade. It is certainly faster at pureeing up my smoothies but it is noisier than my 600. I am still a big fan of all NutriBullets and recommend them to everyone!

I brought this product last year..it made some sound ..but since I had never used this product before I didn't realize that the sound was not normal untill I saw my friend working with the same model without any sound. But since I had exceeded my warranty period, I just got blade replacement.
