This is the 1st time I bought a nutribullet. According to the instruction you're not supposed to use regular ice cubes, only crushed ice. Our ice maker doesn't make crushed ice. So when we made our 3rd or 4 drink we put in a couple cubes and it left dents/nicks in the blades. Also it says to never remove the rubber gasket in the blade section.... I can imagine how much mold and fungus would grow under it if never removed to clean.. We plan to take it back to the store very soon and buy a blender like Vitamix or Blendtec that does it all, including making smoothies with ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like how much the NuriBullet breaks down anything I put into it . Even fruit with seeds get broke down enough so as to easily drink. Carrots an apples pulsed into liquid .Enjoying our Nutri Bullet so far the smoothy or shakes are filling an now just waiting to see the benefits of drinking them pay off.
