I love this product when it works properly but often during the blending process the liquid escapes the container and I have to take it apart, clean the inside of the base and start over.

I have been using NutriBullets for several years. In that time, I have owned four. They tend to malfunction quickly, within the first six months of use. I have extended warranty, but they never last past the first year. I have called support and they tell me to press on the white tabs that cause the devise to run when cup is inserted. This helps for a few days, but then it malfunctions again. I have tried other brands and other blenders, however, I return to NutriBullet because while it works, it does the best job.

I like the NutriBullet for smoothies, but it is not mush different than my blender. Other than the fact that it is easier to clean. I bought it to make Bulletproof Coffee and did not realize that you can't use it for anything hot. It cracked and leaked everywhere. As a blender for smoothies, I was hoping it would work better to break down foods without the need of a lot of liquid.

Great blender with a few caveats

I purchased this blender about a year and a half ago. I also own a Vitamix and Blendtec... I must just love blenders. While I don't think the build quality of the NutriBullet is on par with Vitamix, I find that the NutriBullet gets used much more often due to the convenience and the end result of my smoothie.
The cleanup process for this blender is much easier than the other two blenders. It also seems like the consistency of the smoothie is much more controlled. Because of the design with the entire contents sitting directly over the blade, it requires less liquid to move the ingredients around. The other two blenders seem to develop air pockets around the blade and need a tamper to push the contents down. This means that I can make the smoothie as thick or light as I desire (to a certain point).
I love being able to throw the ingredients in and within a few seconds everything is perfectly blended. I usually use spinach, frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, frozen blueberries, frozen cherries, a scoop of protein powder and almond milk for the liquid. The NutriBullet 900 does a quick job and no lumps are left behind.
My caveats are: 1. The fact that I have already had to contact NutriBullet about a replacement base when mine stopped working mid blend. They were great about issuing me a new blender even though the machine was slightly outside of the 1 year warranty period (I did have to pay a twenty dollar warranty upgrade fee). The build quality could be slightly better for the base materials and blade housing.
2. When the blade housing is removed from the container the seal ring sometimes comes off. I always add my protein powder last because I don't want to risk the protein being destroyed from the heat of the blade friction or aggravation of being mixed for a longer period of time. When I take the blade housing off, I have to rinse it before putting it back onto the container or else it makes a mess.
Overall this is a great little blender and for the price it is unbeatable. Hope my review has helped you make a decision.

This is the 2nd time the rubber gasket has fallen out of the cup asssembly, (yes, I follow the guidelines and treat it well) but your customer service has been great. I bought the extended warranty, got a great smoothie recipe, and am looking at your soup maker now thanks to the outstanding help I received.
