I have a Vita Mix and thought it was the best. If you're making a large amount, yes. It was more of a hassle for cleanup for smaller jobs. The NutriBullet is awesome! It is an all-in-one for smaller servings. It makes quick work of fruits and vegetables or whatever I use. I love that I can use the blender with a lid and take it to go:-) A quick rinse of the blades and cleanup is done.
