We bought this product about three weeks ago and use it almost daily. We have found that sometimes liquid leaks through to the rubber gear on the bottom of the blade shaft--not sure why. (And only sometimes.) Still, we love it and would love to know (1) how to prevent the leaking and (2) how to clean the bottom of the blade shaft after a leak. We tried, but it smells a little vinegar-y now.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and I'm a true believer. I've started drinking smoothies every morning and have dropped 5 lbs without even trying. It's increased my fruit & vegetable intake and I feel satisfied most of the day--no mid-morning hunger pangs that cause me to eat unnecessarily. My only issue is that it seems to have gotten harder to activate, like part of the motor activation switch is stuck.
