I bought this about 3 months ago from HSN after their demonstration looked fantastic. One of the blade attachments leaked no matter how much I tightened it. HSN immediately sent me a new one which didn't leak. It blends very well but I am having difficulty with removing the blade attachment after blending. The problem is you must tighten it so much so it doesn't leak that I am unable to open it. I was forced to purchase a jar opener from Craftsman. I tried completely drying the top of the jar first or wetting the top of the jar before attaching the blade, neither worked. I wish there was another way to remove the blade attachment without having to drag out the jar opener which is a large rubber strapping device. Too much work! I do let people know of this when they ask how I like it. I regret my purchase because I don't use it as much as I had hoped to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a protein shake every morning with kale, frozen fruit, ice, water and protein powder. This blender does an amazing job creating a smooth drink with no leftover kale bits or ice chunks. Plus, cleanup is a breeze. It was a bit of an impulse purchase that I do not regret at all!
