I did a lot of research before finally purchasing this particular unit. There were a lot of reviews saying how loud the 'machine' is. In my opinion it is no louder than a blender so don't let those kind of reviews be a deterrent. I am a person who did not make fruits and vegetables regular part of my diet, this is no longer true. I start most days out with a NutriBullet drink loaded with greens and fruits. I find I have a lot more energy by starting my day out this way. I will say when including fruits with seeds and/or nuts let the NutriBullet run just a little while longer in order to get them broken up. I have yet to have any one drink be exactly the same. Its fun to experiment and see how it turns out.

I received the nutribullet as a wedding gift, It is great. I make my smoothie every morning. One thing I have noticed, I can't leave it to mix in the locked position. It shakes too much and loosen the lid. I just push it down and it works great.

I love my NutriBullet. I bought it around a month ago and I have used it every morning for breakfast. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the seals come off after you've blended your smoothie.
