i have bought many of these for gifts, i promote it to everybody i know (including customers of mine) However, i have bought 3 for myself because of the fact that there is a less than durable PLASTIC gear rotater that creates the blending. This PLASTIC piece does NOT hold up to daily use, it SHATTERS!!!!! I am surprised that this single piece is not metal or at least made to be replaceable. I take care of this nutra bullet, as it is the most important apliance in my eating CLEAN/GREEN kitchen.
