We purchased the NutriBullet after a blender and smoothie maker we had just lost the kick they needed to cut up frozen fruit for smoothies. A friend recommended the NutriBullet and after reading reviews, we went for it. So far, it's been a great purchase! I've used it to make smoothies and puree soups with no issues. Two thumbs up!

Had mine over a year, first engine burned out in 4 months and took over a month to get new engine! Blades dull with 2 weeks of usage. When it is fully operational it really breaks down your foods.

I have arthritis in my hands and find the jar very difficult to open once juiced but I think I did find a solution and I hope it won't break the plastic. I gently tap the blade container on a hard surface and this seems to break the vacuum so I can open it.

I love this blender. My husband and I make smoothies every day. The only negative would be: it sometimes leaks around where the container screws into the blade, also I would like it if the container were a bit bigger.

This awesome device has a small caveat….Do NOT put hot liquids inside to emulsify…..I thought I was onto something when I zipped up milk and coffee making a latte….UNTIL I took the top of and the the pressure blew in my face. It doesn't like hot liquids….no way for steam to come off like a Vitamix. Looks like Im keeping the Vitamix and sticking to the Nutribullet for cold smoothies.
