A colossal disappointment

Was very excited about the 900. I love healthy smoothies this was marketed as the cadillac of blenders. It never did the job very well. I always had seeds and skins in every blend. After a few weeks I returned it.

I just bought my machine and have only used it a handful of times. It performed well the first time I used it, but ran hot, with an intense burning smell about 15 seconds in. I thought it might just be the newness, but the burning smell occurs each time. I am concerned and will need to return it unless this is normal for the first few uses.

I bought this last year at Christmas. Already had to replace the Base/blades. Then randomly the gears ( Plastic ! ) just shattered in a million pieces with normal use. Who is the moron who designed that? It must be a Common failure because replacements come in packs of 3! The switch sticks a lot and the plastic cups are of Low Quality. I will Never buy one again.

This is our second unit. Our first one was great and we used it almost daily , but after several years of heavy use it became tired and stopped working. On the same day we purchased our second unit and we are going strong again.

This is my second purchase of this brand. My last one the motor went after 3 years of daily use. I started juicing eight years ago with the first nutribullet. This 900 series is way better.

Everything works great except that occasionally a small amount of grey-black grease goo sleeps out of the bottom of the blade attachment. Must be motor oil or something similar. Doesn’t seem to affect functionality so far; it has been about two months.

At first I loved it. It blends very very well that's not the problem. The problem is it doesn't seem to no matter how tight I put the cap on whenever I put it on it unscrews itself and leaks really bad as it blends. I even had my boyfriend screw it on as tight as he could and sure enough it still unscrewed itself when it was blending. Makes a huge mess and almost not even worth messing with. Especially if you are in a quick hurry to just have a smoothie and leave the house.
