The NutriBullet is a great item if you want something that takes up little space yet offers the big power of larger ones. I have been making changes to live a healthier life style and this makes it easy. My daughter is a dietitian and she loves the NutriBullet also.

lid/blade rarely screws on properly, resulting in constant leakage from the cup and a mess on the counter. The leaking has also resulted in the sticking of the 3 buttons that need to be pressed down by the cup in order for the bullet to work. I often have to wet the 3 buttons with a sponge so they can actually be pressed down with the cup. I don't know if there is an issue with the lid or a problem with the design, however, I know i take great care of my things (i.e. i hand wash the lid/blade and attachment cups) and I only use the product 3-4 times a week, so I know the issue isn't something I caused or normal wear and tear. These issues are very annoying and make me not want to bother using the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect blender to have for quick on the go needs. My boys love smoothies and we like to take this on vacations, or camping trips since it’s cordless it works great. It blends things up nicely and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Great if/when it works, but doesn't last

I bought one of these about a month ago. Worked well for a few days and then it stopped working. Customer Support helped me clean the plastic connectors but it didn't help. They sent me a new unit, and within a week the second unit broke as well. I opened up the original unit to see what the problem was, and noticed that the plastic base that the screws inside mount to, just broke. The second unit broke the same way. It seems like it is just poor craftsmanship. Both my wife and I like it when it works, but it only works for a week or less, which is a big problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a forever blender

2 months in we had to replace the blade assembly, the gasket is not replaceable so you have to replace the whole assembly. I was told that the entire blade assembly should be replaced every 6 months, what a waste. It does an ok job making chunky smoothies.

I absolutely LOVE this "pint sized" lil portable blender. I does exactly what I need it to do, blend smoothies on the go! I purchased another one as a gift for my aunt, and she loves it!!

Smell of burnt plastic upon usage

I bought it back in September , then upon first usage it releases a very bad smell of burnt plastic. I returned it and got new piece: sane problem. It is unsafe to consumer.

I bought this because I had Bariatric surgery. I have only used it a couple of times to make some shakes, but so far I have really liked it. It chopped up the ice cubes so fine it was almost like they were part of the shake as opposed to other blenders I have used there were large and small chunks of ice in the shake. I bought the kit and love all the accessories that came with it. I like the lip/handle I can screw onto the cup that makes it into an actual cup instead of feeling like you are drinking from the blender.
