my first blender was leaking and second blender the plastic chips that are suppose to fit in the blender are to small and wont work. set up a complaint but never heard back after several attemps. No one that I know will buy this product. your welcome

When we first got this My Wife and I have been making shakes every day..but now being about five months since having it seems like it is falling apart...The motor sounds like the gears are grinding (very,very, loud and noisy) the blade cap bearings are starting to get play in them and gaskets are melting...I am afraid this thing is not going to last much longer...Very disappointed cause it does make great shakes which I look forward to having every morning to energize me through out the day....I feel that NutriBullet needs to go back to the drawing board and design something that will last much longer and less noisy....

My nutri bullet worked good for 3 months

I bought my Nutribullet in 2013, and it worked well for approximately 3 months. Then the veggie, and fruit cutter blade started to get loose, and what ever type of grease they use for the ball bearings started to seep into my drink, and the blade started to wobble a bit. It is now just sitting on my kitchen counter, and unusable, but it does look good, and it also reminds me NEVER to buy anything from Nutribullet ever again.... If you are going to buy one, then think again, and buy something else that will work well for years to come.... Just NOT Nutribullett

I bought this less than a month ago and have only used it a handful of times. It was working great at first and I was seriously in love, and now after a few times making frozen fruit smoothies and a milkshake once, the Nutribullet is extremely hard to press down. I have to have my boyfriend do it for me and then we can't get it to stop once it starts, it's kinda scary. Last night it started to smoke when we used it. There's not a maybe option for if I would recommend this product, yes I do, but the problems need to be fixed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything works fine...except...when I press the jar down to blend it spurs out the liquid and makes a huge mess.

Handy Enough But HARD to clean

I've had mine for about 2yrs -- maybe 3, so it has a long life. But my main issue with it is that it is hard to clean. If I was blending something like celery, or any really fiberous or stringy vegetable or adding some kind or green powder to my smoothie, it was always really hard to clean the particles out of the grooves of the rim of the cup that screw into the blending lid or the to go lid, as well as the grooves in the to-go lid and gray part that housed the blending blades. It's hard to find anything short of a toothbrush --- and it would have to be a very stiff-bristled brush at that, to dislodge the food residue. And as I said, if the veggies/fruit were green, the gunk in the grooves was VERY apparent. No matter how well I cleaned or rinsed the parts out, I always felt that it wasn't clean enough and feared bacteria was growing in the grooves of the cup and the lip, so I added just a TAD of bleach to the water, and that didn't help as far as helping with the stains. Plus, after awhile, the sides of the cup started looking scratched as if I'd used a brillow pad to clean the inside of it, though I'd only ever used a sponge or washcloth. Now the entire cup looks dirty, even when it's clean. The area where the blades attach to the bottom of the gray plastic they're lodged in --- I can't tell if it's rust or just the accumulation of food residue that I could never completely wash off. Something needs to be altered with the design of the cup and lids so that food doesn't get stuck in the grooves so that bacteria can't grow in them. Also, more times than I can count, the lid would loosen while I was blending, even though I double-checked to make sure it was on tight before I turned the machine on, and liquid would leak out of the cup while I was doing something else as it was blending, and when I came back and turned off the machine and took the cup out of the housing base, there would be liquid that had seeped all down the holes at the bottom, and into the mechanism within the base and leak out the bottom. I'm surprised it's still running after all the times this has happened and has not caught on fire. So I give this an average rating for functionality --- in theory --- but the design desires something to be desired in terms of ease of cleaning and sanitary function.

It pulverizes everything for me

I bought the NutriBullet pro 1200w because I needed something that pulverized everything for me. I am unable to digest roughage, cruciferous vegetables etc. It's quite an adjustment for me. And I also cannot eat seeds and I haven't tried it out as of yet if it would pulverize the seeds. But I'm working on different things to help myself.
