Just what I wanted

I really wanted a wifi label printer and this works perfectly. It has not dropped off the network once (unlike my previous label printer - not Brother!) The only reason I have marked it down a star is that I find the P-touch software a little on the confusing side, particularly for continuous labels, but I shall persevere!

Fantastic quality, easy setup, works on enterprise WiFi with ease (Dymo lablewriter wireless was an absolute nightmare)
Really configurable, great power saving options to ensure the printer stays on at all times.
Can’t fault it
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buggy with the worst and most difficult set up

So, I've installed this to my Epos till at work, not too difficult. But have since also attempted to install on 2 different laptops. All I can say is - what a nightmare !. 3 hours spent connecting it to my first laptop, after many attempts at install/re-install. Many attempts unsuccessfully on a brand new laptop. The software - P.Lite is incredibly tempramental and buggy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On latest firmware Wi-Fi Direct is enabled out of the box, so this could cause difficulties if setting up with laptop / Infrastructure network. If others run across similar issues this FAQ should help: -

Also most will find the full P-touch Editor much better than the Lite version.

Does a great job

I now have had my label printer for 3 weeks it was difficult to install on my Mac at first I followed your instructions but it kept stalling at one point and not letting me move forward to complete the install I went onto YouTube for some help after viewing a number of tutorials from Brother it still would not let me complete the install I then downloaded the app from apple for the printer and this helped to finish the install

Very Good Robust Product

I bought this a few months ago after trying two others, neither of which would connect to either my Windows PC or my Mac. It connected to my network the first time i attempted it

Get Labelling

The second Brother Label Printer I have purchased in the past month (other one a P Touch) both are great. This one is versatile and can produce a multitude of size and shaped labels, making it a good all rounder. The fact that it is wireless too means it can be positioned anywhere and you can also purchase a battery pack if you so wish. The problem comes when you run out of things to label and start looking for things. Haven't quite got my head around the editor software and I'm sure it does much more than I actually need, but certainly managed to find enough on line videos to get me started.
