[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this cook top for about a month. My wife has been very happy to use it, which I knew mostly due to the reason of faster response compared to our previous electric cook top. Installation was easy. I liked the tilted knob panel. The knob control appeared smooth and efficient. My biggest complain is the distance between the flame and the grid being too much, which I believe wastes quite a bit energy. I would not have any hold-back to recommend this product if without this drawback. Hope Frigidaire will have a lower grid. Also if total 4 grids instead of 2 bigger pieces are equipped, cleaning would be easier. It is pretty warm at the bottom of this cook top during cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy with the Frigidaire gallery stove except the label of Frigidaire Gallery came off in the first 2 weeks cleaning with soap, water and soft cloth.

Not So Great Grate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for remodel but have not been able to use yet due to 3 faulty center grates. The one that came with the unit was broken upon delivery, the second had missing rubber feet which would cause scratches to the unit, the 3rd came broken. This one though wasn't a full piece which means it wasn't broken during shipping but was actually packaged that way! The 4th is arriving today but my hopes aren't high which is about the same that I'm feeling about the unit once we get it installed. Actually considering returning based on these experiences.

Surprizingly Good

We thought we would like the large burner in the middle but it is much better than just that. The large diameter burners heat larger pans evenly and work so much better than our old range. We never had a simmer burner and didn't know we would use it so often. We are very happy with the purchase.

Good lay out of 5 burners. All burners boil twice as fast as my previous unit. The lows for simmer are excellent. Installed easily. Love this cooktop!
