A terrific update and upgrade from our old cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sharp looking, stylish, modern unit. This one replaced a 25-year old cooktop from a high-end manufacturer, and what a difference in performance! The jets light immediately after turning on the respective knobs, and the heat and cooking power provided by each burner are much improved over our old unit. One thing to be aware of is that if a few burners are on at the same time, the knobs get VERY HOT. We have metal knobs, which conduct the heat a little TOO well, but I know some units have plastic knobs, which can be problematic as they can melt per other reviews I have read, and would need to be replaced. Frigidaire has not addressed this consistently.

The installation was simple, and I love having 5 burners with grates that extend across the entire cooktop. Cooking is easy with this appliance, and cleanup is quick. And it is a good fit in my kitchen. Love it!

Just in first month of use

Like the rubber tips on the grates for setting aside the grates on the counter while cleaning and not scratching the counters.

Solid, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great look and feel. Center burner is high-heat for easy boiling. *However* the low (simmer) is too high, can't simmer a bone broth over night. Also, difficult to install - we lost one of the propane converter nipples; waiting 8 weeks for the part. :-(

Great cooktop for the price!

Nice gas stove and looks nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a home with a very old and beyond dirty gas stove which also was a Frigidaire. The install did require at rim to our granite countertop and so I don't understand why there's no standardization? Regardless, it works well and looks nice.
