GREAT ITEM (but?)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Pleased with the item. Cooks well and has a great appearance. The only feature we are negative on is the bright glossy paint. Fry one egg and you have to pull the grating off and clean the bottom portion. Very hard to clean - it streaks and it is very difficult to get these streaks off. A black matt finish would of been easier to clean.

Very poor quality porcelain finish

After only 1.5 years of use I have multiple places of chipped and scratched porcelain. The first areas started showing within months of use and today I discovered more. It looks horrible. After much research before deciding to purchase this Gallery cooktop, thinking I had made the right choice, I cant express how greatly displeased and regretting my decision to include this cooktop in my brand new house. Because of the poor quality finish, the good points are overshadowed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an ancient cooktop with this one and so far we’re loving the upgrade. Installation was easy aside from tracking down the right flare nipple at the hardware store. Unfortunately the mounting brackets are unusable if you’re placing the cooktop over a 30” cabinet but it stays in place just fine without them.
The cooktop itself looks and works great. The knobs are precisely adjustable and the burners put out tons of even heat. The grates all sit flush and secure, making it easy to move pans around or stir the food. Cleaning has been a breeze so far too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my stove top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this put into our new home and it is great. It starts up easily and I love having the 5th burner. Some of my pans are kinda big so that makes it difficult to use the middle burner and the all the side burners at the same time but for the most part they all fit and it is great.

We have had this cook top a month and it is everything I wanted in gas cooking. Controls are easy to use and clean up is quick and simple.
