Makes life easier

We have a 5000 square foot home, have two Ring cameras outside, two smart TVs, and an Apple TV. We were having trouble with the Ring cameras receiving a strong enough signal continually and the Apple TV was receiving anything. I bought a range extender that helped a bit, but was still not 100% for the Rings and still didn't help the Apple TV. After a lot of research and comparisons, I finally decided on the Orbi. Once everything was set up correct (I had to put it in AP mode) everything is smooth. I placed the router next to the Fios Router/modem (which is on one side of the house), placed a receiver in the middle of the house which takes care of the main floor and second floor areas, one receiver was placed by the front windows so it can reach the Ring cameras, and one placed downstairs to work the Apple TV. We have a better signal everywhere in the house, and a much stronger signal to the Ring cameras. So far we are extremely happy with our investment.

Better than expected

So easy to set up and I am not tech savvy at all! It doesn't slow down the connection but actually improves the speed at which I stream. No more worries about buffering or lagging. Also makes the ability to use my whole house and not eliminate space because it's not close enough
to the router. The design let's you display inconspicuously because of only a single plug wire. You're able to adjust strength by sight of the ring lights rather than checking connections every time it's shifted or moved. I live in a home circa 1905 and have various medal from pipes to nails to wires to paint with lead that the network has to go through to get to my devices. This is a thing of the past and now I can actually enjoy my subscription without spotty service. I especially love that there's no hard wiring involved and for someone like me that is a huge plus. Skeptical at first to claims it makes but not only a firm believer now but a firm believer. Highly recommend...

Netgear puts the 'Orbi' in exORBItant

Why is the Orbi exORBItant? It's because it exceeded my expectations in form and function all at a great price in a sea of competition. The Orbi came highly recommended by a friend who works in the tech industry, who always performs in-depth research before making a purchase. So I knew the advice was solid. I needed extremely low maintenance, something so simple to set-up, and really works. He was 100% correct. I litterally plugged it in, downloaded the app, and followed the step by step instructions. I loved the fact that I could set the Orbi network name and password to my existing WiFi once I disabled my existing device device, in my case a FiOS WiFi router. All devices connected without issue and no one in the family knew I even made the change. I could now see strong connection on the second floor and the basement. It's sleek look was so inconspicuous my wife has yet to see it on her on white custom hutch, a place typically void of any technology! Thanks Netgear!

Solved Cable Signal strength

Orbi Home Mesh Wi Fi System has solved our home wi fi and router problem we have had with our prior cable fios company's router and the wi fi signal. We did not have to upgrade our service to a more expensive plan as a cable provided wanted. We purchased the Orbi Netgear system and all problems with signal and strength were resolved, and not having to upgrade our internet service or plan! 11 devices connected and all perfect. The system was was easy to set up with the app. The system parental controls on the app are wonderful, we can shut off wi fi access when the kids are using devices too long which now they are use to. We appreciate the guest wi fi password capability, many visitors always request our wi fi and now we feel comfortable doing so. The look of the Orbi Netgear Mesh is modern and does not stand out, looks good with our other items. Thank you for having a simple system that works and solved an on going issue we had with low signals and horrible wi fi service.

Awesome WiFi for Home

We were looking to get a WiFi set up for our house that would work for our busy and very connected household. We had one way to access the net and only one person at a time could do so. We were rather tired of that and decided if we were going to make a better experience for our household, we should put a little more cash than average into it, thinking it would be worth it in the long run. This system seemed a little pricey, but we thought we would give it a try. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. We generally can't afford much and the price seemed a little high but not out of range. If you want a system for your household that works where and when you need it, for several connections at once - this is for you. Middle price range, high end hardware and easy to use software. It is secure and smooth, and if you are looking for a fantastic WiFi system, bypass the low end, don't spend too much for way little. Go with the mid-range, 'just right' option with Netgear Orbi. You will be glad you did!

Saving Me Grief!

Fast, covers my 5K sq. ft. house and more, easy app setup, running 12+ devices including gaming systems. Best thing...nobody complains about our WiFi anymore!

Easy to install SUPER fast WiFi

We purchased this system a few months back and were impressed with the ease of installation. We were even more impressed with the speed if WiFi that we now had throughout the whole house (including the yard). I highly recommend the products, especially the NETGEAR Orbi Wall-Plug Whole Home Mesh WiFi Satellite Extender.
I would recommend this to a friend!
