Great coverage around house

I bought this about a week ago because my wifi reception out the front of my house as well as upstairs was less than poor, it was nonexistent. I have the ORBI main hub at my desk/office, another in the livingroom and the third plugged in the upstairs hallway. Now my whole property is covered right out to the end of my driveway, whole backyard and entire upstairs. I like to have my Amazon Echo playing in the Garage and outside which is great now. Also I do business on my phone a lot and using the wifi on my phone has been flawless. Git it a 5. It is an investment in my wifi for years to come and feel the price is not too expensive. Would recommend this product for a family as I have two young boys who stream video games online, instream on my phone, my wife streams Netflix on the TV. The tri-band really helps.

Orbi - Complete Coverage at 300MBS

I purchased an 3pk of Orbis to use as repeaters in AP mode as I wanted to maintain my current WiFi settings on my connected home without the hassle of resetting locks, lights, fans, cameras, and a Ring Doorbell.
I have a 400MBS Altice connection which maxes out at around 386MBS at the router. Prior to the Orbis, my max strength was ~170MBS in my bedrooms on opposites sides of the house. While this is enough when streaming, I was getting delays on my Ring doorbell and Blink Cameras. When watching 4K AppleTV, my Ring would drop signals.
Now I am consistently well over 300MBS throughout the entire home.
Setup was a breeze with the iOS app, I setup as a router first, then connected via browser and converted to access points.
Eventually I'll eliminate the Altice router, but for now, I'm impressed!!

Very good product

Really! A very good product. Since installing, I havent had a dead spot in my house with a basement and a garage on the opposite side of the house from where the router is. I positioned the satellite on one end of the house and the router on the other. Very good so far. I did have an issue at first with the firmware update. It made the satellite not work because of the order it updated. So if you do get it make sure your sats update before the router. If this was a review about netgear's customer service and easy of use of their services it would be something way different then 5 stars. I spent 1.5 hours trying to solve the issue and their recommendation was to replace it. Didn't give up. Researched for about 10 minutes in a forum, found thw solution, and my system was up and running as advertised again in 20 minutes.

Best router ever made

Easy install, fastest router speeds that reaches every part of my property. If you have higher than 100 mb internet speed and a house with many thick walls, do yourself and everyone else in the house a favor. In my home in the evening, we typically have five people using the internet, three of us using laptops to watch streaming video. The jittery and laggy response that was present before has completely disappeared.
As far as setup. The only difficulty I experienced was finding a sweet spot for the satellites. It involved plugging them into the wall testing the internet speed around it (lol) and moving them to a different spot. Which took this install from 10 mins to 30. Just making sure my property had the best coverage possible. Now the fastest Wi-Fi speeds range from 330 mbs to 100 mbs which is out on the street.

Awesome performance and easy setup.

We had been using the standard modem/router provided by our tv/Internet service. There were annoying blind spots that we tried to remedy with an externer. That helped with fixed location receivers. However, with our iPads and laptops that we moved around, it was annoying to have to from signal. At that, the signal strength and speed was marginal. Supposedly we were provided 100 Mbps in, but only received 10 Mbps out.
I read about the merits of a mesh router. The Orbi was a top contender in every review so I picked one up. On my first speed test it read 109 Mbps. WOW.
At the furthest distance from any of the units, the signal was strong and the speed was 36 Mbps. We have been able to put TVs in every bedroom and have them run great just on Wi-Fi. - saving on cable box rentals.
Setup was easy and the performance is great.

Love it! No other way to put it

I've been trying to decide whether to go mesh WiFi or upgrade my router for over a year now. I finally choose to take a leap of faith and buy the Orbi over googlewifi, Eero, or Linksys. So far it has been running great! We got the Ultimate coverage kit 4 pack AC2200. There were so many dead spots in our house due to the modem and router location in the corner room on one side of the house. Catty corner to that is the master bedroom that only got one bar; however, ever since we hooked up the orbi we have a full signal everywhere! Even in the backyard and front porch. We love the orbi and would recommend it to anyone who has issues with WiFi signal and/ or a lot of devices. All our smart TVs, laptops, iPads, iPhones, gaming consoles, and smart house features are hooked up and everything works perfectly! Great investment and worth every penny!

Way better than I thought I'd be!

I'm a brand new homeowner here. I have way more square footage now than I've ever had before. I wanted an easy solution to cover my entire house with strong Wi-Fi signal. I'll be honest, I was skeptical that this setup would do the job. I must say, that it has totally impressed me in its first week of operation. There's not a spot in my 3000 square foot home that I don't have full bars of Wi-Fi signal on my smart phone. I walked out to the mailbox and then out back past inground swimming pool and I have two to three bars everywhere I've gone around my property. I said it before and I'll say it again, this Orbi system really has been impressive. My current configuration has the main unit centralized in my home and the two satellites on either end of the house, it couldn't have worked out better and I'm so happy I invested in this wi-fi system.

Fast, great coverage and easy setup

I recently moved into a larger home. 2700 sqft plus an unfinished basement which is roughly 1300 sqft. My old router barely reached across one floor - I needed a solution. I frequently stream media, surf the web but more importantly, run 8 WiFi surveillance cameras inside and outside the home. This orbi system is able to reach and power all these devices with no issues. The system is also very easy to setup with the provided QR codes and in-app instructions. The hardest part was determining where to place each satellite for best coverage. It took some moving around but the end result is nothing short of amazing. Prior to purchasing I read through hundreds of reviews on multiple different WiFi systems looking for a powerful system with great coverage. I am happy to say I found the right one for my needs. Kudos to netgear for an amazing product.
