Extremely Happy

I read some negative reviews about the set up being difficult but I watched a video before opening and then followed the directions that came with the system. It worked pretty seamlessly. I had one small issue with one of the satellites that I had placed in the finished basement bedroom on the other side of the house not being recognized but I moved it about ten feet out and got it working. Not only does the system work but it somehow makes my internet speed faster! I did many tests prior to setting it up and many tests after. The upload speed didn't change much but the download speed doubled! I highly recommend this system for anyone! (Also, just for the record, I do not consider myself a tech savy person!)

WiFi coverage at last!

The NETGEAR Orbi Home Mesh WiFi System (RBK33) has made all areas of our home WiFi accessible ! We had another upgraded system installed by our internet provider, but it just couldn't get to small areas in our home. Now I don't have to take my iPad to the spot where the internet enters the house every morning just to connect. The farthest televisions now connect to Netflix and Prime quickly and the dreaded icon that indicates the tv is trying to find the internet in the middle of a movie is a thing of the past! We are thrilled with our Orbi mesh system and wish we had purchased it as soon as we read the outstanding review in the Wall Street Journal. (Glad I saved it to know which system was right for our home.)

Game Changer

I have a total of 8 tenants in my 5 bedroom home. For two years the biggest complaint was that the WiFi was unreliable. It would cut in and out and at times quit altogether. If the group was watching a movie, people would turn off their WiFi in hopes that they would make through the movie with less lags and loading time. I assumed that it had nothing to do with router, we just had too many people and devices on the WiFi at once? I was wrong. Instead of upgrading my wifi, I decided to try upgrading my router first. The crazy thing is, it worked! The download speed increased from 10 to 111 with over 8 devices connected. The coverage thoroughly supports my home as well as the outdoor premises. Hands down, game changer...

Replaced an Apple WiFi Network

When Apple announced they were discontinuing their Airport WiFi line I decided it was time to upgrade. After much back and forth between the Orbi mesh and some competitors I took the plunge for the Orbi. I'm completely happy with the system. Was setup in minutes and I was able to replicate all my needs with 15 mins, even after needing to do a bit of research for some particular functions which in the end was easy too. Been running for about a week now with no issues and much better performance than my Apple WiFi network covering about 5k square feet inside and outside of my home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable system with great management software for the family when it comes to limiting screen time.

Great WiFi Reception Through The House

I recently dropped cable and went all streaming - but had to find a way to get rid of that annoying buffering in parts of my house. After researching all the options, I wanted a mesh system and Orbi had a good rep - but a few so-so reviews. Let me tell you, after getting Orbi up and running - IT IS GREAT! No dead spots in any parts of my house and set-up was a snap. Those reviews about Orbi having a bad app - that is resolved because it was a breeze to use. Set up could not have been easier. As long as you are patient while the satellites connect everything will go well. It is great that you can plug the satellites in anywhere you need to in order to get reception throughout your home. I completely recommend it!

No dropped signal

Had a continuous problem with WiFi signal dropping. Had reboot routers every other day. Tried several different router brands..no joy. My technically see savvy son came to visit. He suggested part of the problem was the number of divises attached to the network (I am in into home automation). He suggested a mesh network. The Netgear Orbi system was not the first he recommended (the first system was out of my price comfort zone). The Orbi he said should fix my problems with dropped signal and for my budget. it's been a week and I could not be happier. No more Google bricks bouncing in the home hub, no more sorry can't c connect to WiFi right now, no wife"why can't the technology just work!". Well now it is! Happy wife happy life!

Love this product

I love this product. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because the first time I set it up, it was quick and easy until I changed the name and the password. The system rebooted and it didnt remember my password and the original wouldnt work either.
After a lil bit of troubleshooting I reset both the hub and the satellite, via pushing the small button on the backs and holding it for a few seconds. The system reset and I just followed the steps again.
My wifi works everywhere in my house. My roku TV's dont buffer anymore and my laptop works in every room. It only worked in the same room as my router before.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to boost their wifi in their home or business.

Great Product

I am very happy with the router. Although I wish there was more security options available. The network I run here is semi public therefore multiple users that change every week. Sometimes I get rocket scientists that arp poison sometimes people try to log in the router with password breaking apps. A good number of the devices are android phones which have all kinds of apps to mess with the router. I don't know why they do it maybe trying to get control of network who knows. When I notice some of these things I block them at the router. It would be nice if there was a security feature that would automatically block devices that are unauthorized from hacking within network. Overall I am very satisfied with your product. Thank you
