Very impressed!

We had constant drops in our wi-fi connection with Frontier Fios (up to 4-5 times per day). I was ready to disconnect their service and switch to a different company until someone recommended we get the Orbi. Since installing our Orbi, our internet has not dropped once and the speed has improved too. It was easy to install and setup. And as an added bonus I now have more control over my teenage son's internet use. I can turn it off at bedtime only on his devices and filter out some of the naughty stuff he was searching for before. I'm very impressed and happy with our Orbi. We've only had it for a week so I'll update if we have any issues but so far it's been awesome!

Strong reception and easy setup

I have a 3,500 sq ft home and had pockets of weak WiFi connection. In addition, with so many phones, iPads and gaming systems fighting for WiFi, you could see the speed slow down as soon as everyone was in a room together. The Orbi was very easy to setup (I didn't have to call my kids to help me) and we positioned the two satellites in opposite points of the house to help cut down weak spots. You could see the improvement right away in all our products. Screens roll right away and buffering is minimal on movies. The 'guest' access was a bonus. I would recommend the ORBI Tri Band to anyone who is just tired of waiting and waiting for products to work at the speeds you expected.

A Must Have

We have always had a strong WiFi signal in our house, but being that everything seems to be in the same signal whether 2.4ghz or 5.0, it didn't matter if we were standing right next to our router. The signal would inevitably dissipate the moment the baby monitor was turned on or our wireless house phone picked up. Thanks to the Teri-band dedicated signal from the Orbi home WiFi system, the interference is no longer an issue. We once again are able to use our WiFi consistently with great signal captured no matter what formerly interfering devices are on or where we are in the house.
This is an absolute must have for anyone experiencing issues with interference or dead spots of any kind.

This product saved our family

With two adults and two teenage boys, we have A LOT of devices that need to connect to the internet. With a two story house with a basement, many times we wouldn't get a good signal or the signal would drop. I did a great deal of research before we settled on the Orbi system by Netgear. This product has saved our family dynamic! One of the kids was always complaining that they were getting bumped off the internet or it was too slow for their games. No more! I have also noticed no issues with connecting to the Chromecast in the basement (which used to be a huge problem) and my phone and desktop computer definitely are faster. It was super simple to set up. We couldn't be happier with this product!

A Consistently Great Experience

Once installed, our Orbi AC2200 wi-fi system took over the reigns of providing our family with a stable and consistent internet experience. It is remarkably better than our previous "solutions." There are no drops, no slow downs and no reboots in our two-story 2300 sf house, inside or outside. Streaming is a pleasure on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and Pluto. As a result, we have "cut the cord." Set up was easy; just follow the directions. We have Comcast internet and there were no glitches of any kind and our speeds are excellent. The units are large or bulky in comparison to units I've seen by other manufacturers, but do I care? Not when I get such a bang for my buck. We are completely satisfied.

Awesome footprint!

3 pack is where it's at. We have a 2900 sqft ranch plus a 450 sqft bonus room over garage that's the only thing upstairs. Main unit in panel room/pantry in center of house at modem. Satellites in bonus room and office on opposite ends. I get 70% or better signal strength everywhere in my house, and I'm getting about 90% speed of my capacity. I even get 50% connection strength at my mailbox which is probably 300 ft clear line of site from the bonus room satellite. Very happy. Extremely simple setup, but the Ethernet patch cable from orbi was either bad or not caompatible with my modem (garbage Arris 2n1 from local ISP). Set the same system up at grandfathers as well, also with great results.

Finally streaming freedom

So I have a 2500 square foot two story house. With three teenagers and a girlfriend my house normally has about 17-20 devices connected at once, I've been using the factory WiFi router provided by my cable provider, I've been paying for 100 mbps but on my best day I've only been pinging 25 mbps! I finally decided to upgrade to Orbi after many YouTube video reviews ... and let me just say I'm still kicking myself for waiting so long. I now currently ping 102 mbps everywhere in my house!!! It's amazing!!! I got the rbk30 and it was plenty for my house. And the money I'll save by turning in the rented router will pay for the orbi in under a year... seriously the best thing I've ever done

Orbi home system

The Orbi home system is great! Our home is roughly 4000 sq. Ft, so I opted to go with one that covered 6000 ft. as a precaution. I had some trouble with the initial setup as I attempted to Hardline two of the units, but was unsuccessful. I finally gave in and just tried to let them run wireslessly and to my surprise, they worked well. The reason I was surprised was due to how our home is built. We have a sound proofed theater room, that is separated by thick concrete. The room is a decent distance from the main orb, so I originally ran a Hardline but found out it wasn't needed. I have a separate orb in that room and I don't see any data transfer lag. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
