Simple solution for home mesh system

I was looking for an easy way to expand my WiFi signal and found it here. My tri-level home is about 2700 square feet where I have had issues with the signal even with a booster. With the addition of the Orbi we have been able to enjoy seamless streaming on multiple devices. The system was easy to configure and connect with the hubs. We have 2 adults working from home and 2 kids on their devices, the system has been able to manage the bandwidth with no issues in the first 30 days. I am looking forward to stress testing this further over the summer when the kids are out of school. I really like the App which allows you to monitor and manage all connected devices.

I was having a terrible time with my ATT fiber provided router. Everytime the power would flicker all my devices would have to be reset to connect back to the wifi. This was especially annoying when I had to climb a ladder to reset my ring cameras because they never worked. I decided on a whim to try an Orbi setup and see if my devices got a more stable connection. I am happy to say that since connecting the Orbi all my devices have had solid connections and I think the video on my cameras may even be clearer due to a better connection. Overall I am very pleased with my Orbi and wish I would have got it sooner rather than dealing with the horrible router from ATT.

Amazing coverage!

I purchased the Orbi Mesh WiFi system when I was installing a Ring Spotlight Camera. I had previously relied on my Apple AirPort Extreme Time Capsule for my WiFi. The Orbi system was extremely easy to set up, increased my WiFi range considerably and works flawlessly. One thing I noticed with Ring Spotlight Camera connectivity, is that for some reason, it connects better when you go into the Orbi advanced settings at Orbilogin.com and check the box to disable SIP ALG. Since I did that, the Ring device works and connects perfectly. I would highly recommend the Netgear Orbi Mesh WiFi system to anyone looking to increase WiFi coverage in your home and eliminate dead spots.

After years of flustration with my in-home expensive Argus router I upgraded to the NetGear Orbi on my computer techs recommendation. It's an upgrade I don't regret, just wish I had done it sooner. I have a full strength connection and no longer get booted off, even though it said I was connected. My interest speed is faster then before and I didn't upgrade my service. I can even sit outside on the lawn and use my internet connection and I'm only using one of the wall plug satellites at this time. Come summer I'll have the second one plugged in. Much easier to connect to and I love not having tall antennas to work around. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Awesome Product

Work in the IT field and this product exceeds expectations. It was very simple to install. Just download the app, follow the on screen prompts and within a few minutes the system is up and running.
I get much better download speeds with this router then through the wireless router provided by my internet provider.
Have a two story colonial with plaster wall and brick construction inside/outside. Placed the router in the back of the house, a satellite in the front near the front staircase and the 3rd in the hallway at the top of the stairway. The coverage is now complete and strong through our entire house. No drops or weak signals.
Highly recommend this product.

Great Product!

We suffered for a long time trying to use our DSL provider's wifi modem, which barely had the range to reach most of out 2 story home. We bought Orbi, with a little trepidation, due to some complaints on customer reviews, but were pleasantly surprised with the ease of setup and the AMAZING improvement of wifi signal coverage in every corner of the house, deck, patio and garage. Highly recommended, especially if your family is complaining about poor coverage and you are burning through your cellular data as family members unknowingly lose wifi on their devices while watching endless hours of video. If you have been considering a wifi mesh system, this is the one to go with!

Orbi, to infinite and beyond

After buying a new house and moving in a full brick home of roughly 2400 square feet, my Nighthawk X8 just didn't seem to have the stand alone capability to reach every room and the outside areas past the brick. So I did some online research of this system and decided to bite. Install was simple, step by step with the app. Positioned the satellites, waited from them to sync and light up and I was up and running within 15-20 minutes from start to finish. Coverage is great, I can use my WiFi and at full speed, I might add, anywhere upstairs or downstairs and as far as my yard goes outside with no issues or lagging of any kind. Well worth the money so far with one week down.

Best WiFi System

I had been dealing with numerous issues with my provider issued WiFi device. I currently have 150mbps Download/150mbps upload but was only getting half of that with all my devices being a few feet from router, and even less than that when on the 2nd floor. Since my isp provider gave me a generic 'WiFi speeds are not guarantee' I decided to make matters into my own hand. I purchased the Orbi system, disabled all WiFi functionality from the provider device and BOOM! No matter if I'm on the 1st floor, 2nd floor, or backyard I'm getting the speeds ranging from 130-151 mbps with no dropping of signal. I highly recommend this product and on top of that super easy to set up!!
