Best Router I have Owned

This router by far is the best in many categories. 1st the setup was easy. Just plug them in and wait for them to sync. 2nd the range is awesome. I have a 2500 soft house on an acre and I can get signal anywhere on my property. I just have the router and 1 satellite. 3rd the Disney circle feature helps me to ensure my kids are not exposed to the numerous bad influences on the internet. Finally the app interface is easy to use. I especially love the feature that allows me to disconnect wireless devices by switching them off. This is great as a punishment. ' No WiFi access until your chores are done'. Overall great experience with no cons.

Made the switch - solid solution!

Had a Securifi Almond 3 which was fine when it worked but far too many issues. Finally made the switch to the Orbi and haven't regretted it. The setup was slightly awkward even for one technologically inclined and the smartphone app could use more features --- BUT...the performance is amazing and all of my devices are performing much better (even my Chromecast). So between multiple tablets, phones, PCs, laptops, chromebooks, fire sticks, etc - I couldn't be happier. Full disclosure - I've been a Arlo user for quite some time, another phenomenal Netgear solution that I dream of future integration between these platforms. Well done Netgear.

Orbi WiFi Mesh System

The NETGEAR Orbi Mesh WiFi system works like a charm! In my home we have 2 primary living spaces, a living room both upstairs and downstairs. I was concerned that wherever the modem and router were located, the other space would suffer from poor WiFi signal, and given that we exclusively use Netflix and other streaming apps for entertainment was a big concern for me. The Orbi however has made it so I have no drop in signal anywhere in my home despite needing a strong connection on different floors. It's also a reasonably attractive product which is nice because I'd rather not feel like I need to hide it to make sure the space it's in looks nice.

Great!

This router system is amazing. Before this router, my old router left dead-spots throughout half of my apartment. The kitchen, first bedroom, and bathroom were off limits for internet browsing or phone calls. However, after getting this router dead-spots are a thing of the past.
In addition, with my old router would only get a max download of 3mbps, while I was paying for 100mbps. As soon as I set the Orbi, my download shot up to 104 mbps in parts of my apartment where the internet never reached before. If you have dead-spots or slower than usual wi-fi--return the router that the cable company provided and make the investment in this system.

A system upgrade

After initially upgrading to a mesh network with the Google system, I was quite displeased after it stopped working after I returned home from a trip. Customer support was not overly helpful so I researched many different ways to improve it. I came to the conclusion that I just needed a different and better mesh network for my home. I researched the different other mesh networks available and how they might be compatible with my ISP. I came to the conclusion that Orbi was the right system. After quick set up and a little fine tuning, I now see that this was the system that I should have purchased originally. I have been very pleased with it so far.

Love my Orbi

I am so pleased with this product! We recently purchased a large older home, and there was only one cable jack to be found in the basement. We worried that we would not have any Internet Wi-Fi connectivity. Before installing the Orbi, we barely got Wi-Fi at all. Cable installation technician recommended checking out Orbi, and immediately after installing, we had great Internet speed throughout the entire house. And I only needed one additional plug in the opposite end of the house. We never have lapses in our Wi-Fi, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to boost their Wi-Fi, and it is one of the most affordable options I look that

Easy Setup, Amazing Performance!

Prior to purchasing Orbi, I had dead zone issues throughout my house with awful connection speeds. Orbi has made all the difference with incredible performance and control for my children's usage of the internet with the Orbi App. The Orbi automatically connects devices to its 2.4 and 5Ghz Networks. Firmware updates are a breeze. I have 12 devices connected without issue. I can see all the devices that are connected to the network and control their usage as well. Remarkable system. I've always used NETGEAR Gateways and Routers but the Orbi truly is a game changer. Gaming isn't an issue and neither is streaming all through the house. Great product!

Perfect Mesh system!

It's literally the. BEST. It is the fastest of all the mesh routers. I finally have ONE super fast, super extensive, super easy wifi network all over my apartment. No more manually switching to an upstairs downstairs router, nor running cables to and fro. Now I have one, clean, sleek, and insanely fast router. By the way, compared to Google home, this one is faster as the signal fades. Everything I read indicates this. The fact that I actually finally get the wifi to give me the ~350MB/s that I pay for, is just such a relief. There is nothing better at the consumer level unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on corporation-styled router systems.
