Great WiFi throughout the house

I was reviewing the different mesh WiFi systems in the market and eventually picked the Orbi for the following reasons:1) The main Orbi router has several LAN ports2) The wall plug satellites are easy to deploy anywhere you want without any hanging wires3) Performance reviews show that Orbi has the best WiFi coverage4) I could use it together with my existing cable modem router (Netgear C6300) - I set up the Orbi as an access point (AP mode).With the above setup, I got the desired WiFi coverage I want throughout the house and also gained additional LAN ports on the Orbi router (on top of the LAN ports that I have with my C6300)

WOW what a difference

I purchased a 3 pack to upgrade my 2 router AirPort routers (discontinued and slowing) to the new Orbi. WOW what a difference. It's amazing how much coverage you have with the 3 nodes, and how much faster it is. The automatic switching between the bands for faster speeds is an incredible feature.
It includes Disney Circle for those of you that have little ones that you need some restrictions. Just understand that there are 2 levels of service with Circle, and this merely provides you access to the service, it doesn't provide you with the premium service.
What a great buy. Going to buy the outdoor range extender soon!

Excellent Home WiFi System

One of the truly great features of this WiFi system is the dedicated 5GHz band for communication between the router and satellites. Having the option for ethernet backhaul is also a huge plus. As usual, Netgear has a fairly straightforward quick setup with deep features for more pro users. Considering the price, it is markedly cheaper than Eero three piece WiFi system and with better performance. While not as cheap as the Google system, with AC2200 you can stream 4K while you will not be able to achieve that with the Google system. So for those interested in a powerful system for a decent price, the Orbi AC2200 is the way to go.

Awesome wifi through the entire house

I just upgraded to a 400 mbps internet. My Nighthawk cable modem /router was only giving me around 60 to 70 download on anything connected to wifi. I purchased a stand alone modem and the Orbi mesh system. I am thoroughly blown away at the speed and range of my wifi now. I get easily 300+ anywhere in my 2800 square foot home. I haven't been this happy with my wifi in as long as I can remember. I would recommend the Orbi to anyone, it is truly worth every penny I spent. My whole family is extremely happy now, even with 20+ devices connected to the wifi. Thank you so much from the NETGEAR Orbi team! Absolutely an amazing product!

Excellent Coverage

There are several features of the Orbi whole home WiFi system that warranted a 5 star review. First we have full signal from our basement to our second floor. Which has been a struggle in the past. The coverage is expandable which is a great benefit all that's needed are additional satellites which are so easy to set up. The unit itself has a chic designs and in my opinion blends in well with other house good items and decor. Additionally. There is the phone app to monitor and control your system. With kids it certainly is a plus to be able to suspend WiFi access without punishing the whole house or without changing passwords.

Orbi ac2200

I have a 4,900/square foot home and my router could not reach into the ends of the lower level or outside. Also, I have 3 roku streaming sticks two of which would disconnect due to lack of signal strength. The orbi has eliminated all my issues. I now have a strong signal throughout the house and outside. All my roku streamers work great as well. Setting up the orbi was very easy. I put the router in the office on the main floor and the satellite in the lower level and they synced up immediately. The download speed throughout the house and outside exceeds 100mps. Hats off to netgear for making a great mesh wireless network.

Great WiFi Extender

When I started looking for a new WiFi Extender I did not know anything about the Orbi. My research was narrowed down to 2. After reading the reviews from satisfied customers I decided to go with the Orbi, because of its easy setup and dynamic range! I have an office on one end of the house and a tenant that lives in my basement. The Orbi provides a good strong signal to everywhere in the house. Interestingly my internet service provider started offering the same extender after I bought mine! I highly recommend this WiFi Extender to everyone trying to extend their signal throughout the house. Did I mention it has a app for your phone!

Soooo easy!

I just bought the router and 3 satellite system about 2 weeks ago. So far this system has been everything we needed. Had 3 sections of our house that never had wifi service and after setting up the satellites there is nowhere in our house that doesn't receive full bar wifi service now. Also, My computer used to lag when my son was on his x-box and he said his games were lagging, but now there is no lag for either of us. And it was soooo easy to set up, which I truly appreciated! Didn't download the family circle app to monitor because reviews for that were bad. But so far this system is as good, and as easy to set up, as advertised.
