Perfect router for a townhouse

We were a little hesitant before we purchase Netgear Orbi. Not because of its price, but the device had numerous negative reviews on google and amazon. Yet, we trust Netgear's product as we already know how Arlo, their security system, works flawlessly. Setting up Orbi was very simple. As promised, our wifi speed was drastically improved from 50 mbps to 130 mbps when it is compared to our old wifi router on 150 mbps internet service. Not only that, but also it covers from first to third floor without any disconnection. We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and will definitely use Netgear product in the future.

Purchased orbi for our new home. It is a 2 story home with a full basement. The WiFi is excellent and we have multiple smartphones, laptops, a Desktop, and 3 smart tv's hooked to it. No dead spots even in the basement. I literally can pick up our WiFi at the front of our subdivision with the orbi. Awesome product and EXTREMELY easy to use. I had it set up in less than 10 minutes including downloading the app and placing the router and satellites. We had extremely unreliable WiFi in our previous home which was smaller than the one we are in now. I highly recommend this product for ease of use/setup and performance!

ORBI Mesh System

Moving from a ranch style home to a four story townhome proved to be a much bigger issue than I had thought for communication. The Internet signal was weak, the "Ring" doorbell wouldn't work and our lives were over all just miserable. Not an issue of any sort 40 years ago but today is a very different story. The answer, hands down, was ORBI! With the primary unit on the top floor tied into the modem and one unit on each of the floors below it was communication resolved, "entirely"! Easy to install with all systems go in 20 minutes. It's the solution for today's Internet and airway communication issues. Great invention!

A Wonderful Upgrade For Todays Technology

I've been an IT Manager for 14 years now and am pretty demanding for equipment. I also don't like reviewing but this is worth it. I had the Nighthawk x6 8000 which was decent and very fast in the right areas but it left me wanting. I host get togethers at my house at least once a month and have about 15 people over. In my 2K sq/ft house with around 23 devices on the network there are 0 dead zones even outside near the road. The guest network has been flawless and is the easiest way to keep people from snooping on my internal network. Plus, I make them put in the guest key which makes them type in how great I am :)

Easy WiFi Upgrade

We are a retired couple so when our old WiFi began failing we asked our kids what to get for a new WiFi. Our son told us his workplace was using ORBI and they were very happy with it, so we ordered one. We are not tech savvy at all but had no trouble installing the ORBI and getting all our WiFi devices switched over. We are very happy with every aspect of the ORBI. The range is fantastic. Our home is over 3500 sq ft plus garage and the ORBI covers it all very well (with 2 satellite units). We also like the simple, clean appearance of the unit which is so unlike many of the high end units that have multiple antenna.

Wifi simplified

The Orbi Home Wifi system finally brings in-home WiFi to the 21st century. With all the advances in user experiences since the advent of the iPhone, it feels like this new paradigm is way overdue.
Orbi was easy to set up (though far easier on web app than iOS app) and coverage is spectacular. For years I've paid for top tier cable speeds not knowing it was the WiFi that was incapable of delivering adequate bandwidth to my wireless devices. Now I can scale back the signal coming into the house (and save money) because the Orbi system can pass every bit of that speed on to our mobile devices!

Best Router I've Had in Years

I purchased the Orbi system to cover a large one story house with a guest house in the back. Because our internet speeds are slower in my area, I knew I needed to ensure that the WiFi network was as strong and reliable as possible to deliver the speeds that we do get to all areas of the house. The Orbi system has been fantastic. Prior to the system, the internet provider's router trailed off after about 40-50 feet, but the Orbi signal remains strong all over the property. It covers a larger area than even I thought I would. The setup was simple and both the app and web interface is easy to use for more advanced options.

We've had internet problems since day 1 and lived with it for 2 years (miserably). After doing some in depth research I finally realized there was a solution to our problem and it wasn't just the internet company. I looked into Orbi and I am so glad I did! We can now stream in multiple rooms, I can be one my work video calls and we have zero interference. I couldn't have dreamed of resolving the issues we've had for the past two years overnight! Thank you Orbi for being as awesome as you are and making my work life easier. I work from home and it was becoming a major issue. Thanks to Orbi, this is no longer a concern!
