Amazing 100% Superior!

Setting up my new Orbit Wi-Fi system was the easiest, 100% problem free set up ever!!! I set it up very late at night after working a 15 hour day. During the process I got a phone call from a family member and continued the set up process while accommodating the necessary phone conversation. The set up was a breeze with absolutely no problems or issues at all!!! Š I wish all technology was configured and made this well. Thank you for making a superior product with superior set up and usability. Very hard to find even in this high tech era we live in.

The Orbi is a great replacement of my old dual-band router which had served me well in most areas except for a few far corners in the house. I decided to give this triband mesh system a try. So far I'm quite happy with it. The main unit and it's 2 satellites cover my 2,000 square-foot house fully. Every spot I tested gets the full upload and download speeds. The installation was straightforward by simply following the instructions on the Orbi app. I haven't encountered any dropout or slowdown so far. The app was user friendly and intuitive. I would recommend it.

Wireless connectivity became an issue when I upgraded to a smart tv in my 3500 sqft home. Cable router on 2nd floor, TV on 1st floor -opposite end of house. I tried the cheaper chicken - outlet mount range extender. It provided no improvement. After much research, I picked up the Orbi with two satellites (highly praised by a Geek Squad installer who saw me grab off the shelf). Fairly easy to install. Set my cable modem/router to bridge mode - updated the Orbi firmware. Connectivity has been great all throughout the house and even out in the yard. Happy so far.

Great System

I had been using the Netgear Nighthawk 8500 for a year or so and the range was good but not great. I purchased the Orbi system because I liked the idea of the satellites and the mesh technology and the separate channel for communication. I've been using it for a week now and the performance is excellent! We have a ton of devices hooked up and it haven't had any issues. The app is a great addition as well, easy to control your network. I will be adding the outdoor satellite soon to cover the back yard. The Orbi is by far the best home networking system I've ever used.

Great product, as advertised

I was very skeptical before I bought the the Orbi but I needed a router to handle faster speeds so I thought I'd try it. Set up was very easy, took about 15 minutes to set up the base and 2 satellites. I'm in a 2000 sq foot townhouse and always had dead spots. After I set up the Orbi, I done to dead spots at all! I pull down the same speeds everywhere in my house. The app is very cool also, I can manage usage and security. I've already recommended this to a number of friends. Since it handles way more than 1GB, it should last for a few years before needing an upgrade.

Excellent product

We love the new Orbi mesh WiFi system. With two teens in our home, a parent that works from home and the increase of devices in our home using WiFi we were looking for a system that could handle the load without losing speed. This product came recommended to me from a friend and we have been very happy with it so far. I'm able to control my Orbi through my IPhone with the app and the setup was simple. I love that I can easily see which devices are connected to which satellites and if I need to, I can limit my teens' WiFi with a simple swipe. Highly recommend this product!

Easy, Fast, and Fast

This was almost a plug and play situation. After unboxing the neat Apple like box. I hooked up the ethernet cord from my modem "which was causing disconnects every other minute via WiFi." I followed the steps on the App set up the extender and POOF I was done. I then after setting everything up my wife and I did speed tests all of the problem areas and her WiFi beat my desktop top "which is wired in" in the problem areas. My iPhone 5s matched my desktop in the problem areas. This was insane. I total improvement and just downright above and beyond my expectations. Thank you

My family and I absolutely love the NetGear ORBI. Before I perchased this router, we would continually have to reset our router and would get kicked offline due to all the devices we have. Also the range on our other router was very basic. With this new Orbi we have not had any issues, no resets needed, not getting kicked offline, I can walk in my yard without disconnecting, no lag. I also like the fact that I can disconnect and divce from my smartphone. Also I like that I can set time limits for my children, and that I can set up a guest account without giveing out my pass word.
