Total wi-fi coverage!

My old wireless router was located in my office, which is attached to the house. Wi-fi in our house was almost non-existent. To get any type of signal, we had to go out into the entryway that connects the house to the office. Which is a pain in the summer, but totally horrible in these New England winters.
My son bought us the Neatgear Orbi and now we have excellent wi-fi throughout the entire house, on all three floors.
Fantastic product which I would highly recommend. Easy set-up. Then leave it and enjoy total wi-fi coverage!

Great coverage with one simple issue.

Con: The setup is a bit clunky the app was helpful but couldn't recognize the satellite unit.
Not being able to set 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with different SSID is troublesome. There are ways to do it but this should be an obvious option in setup.
Here is why, there are a lot of gadgets that only work with 2.4Ghz and when you try to set these up using your mobile device that is 5ghz capable you won't be able to set those gadgets up until you setup different SSIDs.

I am really impressed by my new Orbi WiFi system. My internet is now crazy fast! I work from home so this is incredibly important to me! Also, I have now a strong WiFi signal in every corner of my 6,000 sq ft home and even outside! Driving away from my 2 acre lot I still had a strong signal down the street! My security systems and cameras are all working and streaming really fast, even the outdoor and garage ones. (We live in a country/suburb setting so it is really important for us to have fast, strong WiFi for security purposes).

Orbi mesh system Fantastic

I purchased this system because we have a house that that is big and has block walls where a garage was refurbished and we have rooms outside upstairs. This system is fantastic. Our internet has not dropped since installing. We have great coverage where before we had spotted coverage. My son is a gamer and never complains of games lagging or dropping. I spent a lot of money buying one great router after another and until I installed the orbi the coverage was awful. I would recommend this system to anyone who wants a great, carefree system.

No more buffering

For years I have put up with substandard wi-fi in our home. Constant buffering and extenders that only worked 50% of the time.
I had been thinking about getting an Orbi for over a year but just didn't want to spend the money.
My wife surprised me at Christmas and I have to say, it is the best Christmas gift ever. No more buffering; A strong signal throughout our entire 1/2 acre of property and even past our neighbors property.
If I knew how good it really was going to be, I would have popped for it a long time ago.
My wife did good!

Strong WiFi Everywhere

Previously I had a low high end router that would not reach areas of my house. This was probably due to the house having been added onto over the years and what had previously been exterior brick walls are now interior walls. The previous router had trouble sending an adequate signal past these walls that were located a fair distance from the router. With the Netgear Orbi mesh system, this is no longer an issue. With the 2 satellite units, I now have a strong signal all over the house. Well worth it!

My Orbi experience

My family and I had become tired and frustrated with spotty Wi-Fi in our home. Not being too technically inclined I found the set up to be a breeze. Usually in these situations I let my daughter set up the electronics in our house. She had to work late and I didn't have to be in surgery until noon so I decided to see if I could set it up myself. After reading to easy instructions Snd downloadung the app I finished the whole project in less than two hours! Everything has been running smoothly since. We have WiFi throughout our whole house!

So Easy to set up

I purchased the Orbi system with wall plug satellite. I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up. Took about 10 minutes. It has greatly increased the speed of my devices and stability of my streaming. I had been very frustrated by buffering while streaming Netflix or Amazon. Since settting up my Orbi system this only occurs when there is a slow down from my internet provider. Having used extenders and other ways to extend my signal I have found my solution. I only have 1 satellite and it covers my 2400 square foot ranch with no difficulty.
