Netgear Orbi Home WiFi System

We ordered the Netgear Orbi Home WiFi System AC2200 Tri-Band WiFi due to the size of the house which is 3766 sq.ft. We had problems with prior Routers. This Router is excellent! This system truly covers the whole house which is the first time a Router system has been able to do this at this house. It is easy to set up. After set up and first usage-I noticed how quick/fast everything was running-with the Desk Top Computer, the Laptops, the Tablets, and the Smart Phones. This is truly a smart and sharp system Netgear has designed.

Great system

Recently purchased the orbi system after muchb research and thinking that our poor cable company router would finally work. It never did so i bought the Orbi. We have a 1500 square foot home ranch style with a great covered patio outback. We were not able to stream or listen to music heck even our amazon echo could not stay connected. Orbi solved all of those issues and some i did nor even realize. My kids are both able to play games now and the wife and i can stream a netflix show all with nonperformance drop. Great job Orbi!!!!

Great Coverage!

My house is an old farm house that was originally 890 sqf., over the years it's had multiple add-one making it over 2,000 sqf. with many dead zones. I have nothing but issues with WiFi signal, and especially after cutting the cord from the satellite dish, I needed better coverage. I tried everything from upgrading to better service, powerful routers, extenders.... finally got fed up with losing the signal, or internet cutting out... I invested in the Orbi mesh system and have had great connection so far and little issue if any!

Fast, Fast, Fast!

Installed an Orbi for my parents who always have trouble with the network in their home. Their WiFi challenges: long narrow-ish apartment, modem located at one extreme end of said apartment, older building constructed of brick and concrete with load bearing walls throughout the unit. Hooked up the Orbi and 2 wall plug satellites. Wow! is all I can say. WiFi everywhere, and so much faster even in the parts of the house where their newest model xfinity router could reach. Considering buying an Orbi for my own home. Thank you Netgear!

I am thrilled with my purchase. The app is that accompanies the new router and satellite is lightyears ahead of my old Netgear set up which gave me years of service. We had recently moved, and I had added a range extender, but with many new smart home additions, my old router/modem was showing it's age. This new Orbi system powers through it all. The thing that made me most happy now though is that I can finally stream 4K on my television, without any change to my internet subscription. Very pleased and would highly recommend it.

Absolutely Recommend

My wife and I were having issues with our att internet connection intermittently dropping without reason. After some research and numerous technicians later we were told about this router being much better than the standard one issued with att. We purchased the router and nearly a week later I've had no drops in connection and with the additional satellite I am able to have full coverage throughout my house and in my driveway. The signal is much faster and was super simple to install. I don't know how I went on this long without it.

Best wifi upgrade ever

I love this new Orbi mesh Wifi system. It was up and connected in minutes. I did have pros come out to setup. Best part is now when my electric has a pause (which happens daily) my WiFi sets back up-immediately Before I had to go shut down my Modem so everything would disconnect, plus shut down my extender from Verizon. When it all came back up individually I needed to check each connected item to be sure. Now it all sets back up and I can check on app if anything did not which has not happened. Wonderful system. I Love This.

Great speeds, easy setup

Setup was painless. Followed the included instructions and did not have any issues. I have 200Mbps internet, and get the advertised speeds wirelessly. This mesh system covered exactly what I needed to cover as far as range is concerned. I wanted coverage both upstairs, downstairs and in our yard, and it handles it no problem. Strong signal everywhere. Only issue I have is not being able to create separate ssid's for 2.4ghz and 5ghz, at least through the app or web interface - not absolutely necessary, but I liked having the option.
