Wonderful!

One is in my mobile home, and one in my detached garage. The mobile home has aluminum siding, which is grounded, and the garage has wire lathe under stucco.
Its amazing to me that these things can broadcast through two difficult substances to make the connection and give me internet in the garage.
Its NOT fast. But its the best I've found for getting to the garage.
100mbps coming into the first orbi, but the best through put I've gotten is about 50mbps.
All in all its still a win. Thank you netgear!

Solved my issues

I have a smaller home (1500 sq ft) built in 1950. Due to the age, plaster walls, thick plumbing, etc. I couldn't send a reliable wifi signal from one corner of the house to the opposite corner. I would lose 3 out of 4 bars, and 90% of my speed. I tried a new router and wifi extenders, none of which solved the issue. I then found the Orbi system (after considering varying other "mesh" systems), and put it in. PROBLEM SOLVED! I have full signal now in every area of the house, and my speed is fast and reliable.

I got the orbi with the base and 2 satellites. I have about a 4000 sq foot house. I have never experienced a loss or substandard signal and upload and download times are amazing. I get great signal in the previously worst parts of my house and up to three houses away. Imagine being at a neighbors house and still be connected to your network, very convenient.
Additionally it was very easy to hook up and the app, while not flashy, is easy and intuitive.
If you can't tell, I'm super happy with the purchase.

If you are looking at this, then you are looking for something better than a wifi router and repeaters (that generate a different wifi signal). This is it, works great, setup is not hard--one you download the app!! (must do). It is a little more money, but problem solved. I don't know about the 3 bands, I just use whatever my devices want. I can pull 235MB/Sec though this wifi router (max output on my cable internet is supposed to be 200 MB/Sec). I was going to hook up the cat V cable to my computer, but why?

Better than expected

Many folks think their ISP is providing inconsistent service when in reality it is as simple as your current router is being overran by the growing number of internet connected devices at our homes. This system not only corrected that, but I now have exceptional coverage throughout my 3,700 square foot home, my 3 kids no longer complain about slow internet, and I no longer feel like I need to upgrade to a higher bandwidth option from my ISP. PS, I love the Disney Circle offering built in, perfect for my young family.

Best WiFi I have bought

I've had problems with the top of the line Apple stuff for years and finally had had enough. I bought the Orbi because I read the configuration options for the Orbi were greater for the Orbi than they were for any of the competitors. This in combination with the Ethernet ports on each satellite had me sold.
Once I got it setup and running I find myself saying wow again and again. The speeds I am getting from this setup is more than triple what I was getting with my Apple setup. So impressed, so glad I bought this.

Great wireless mesh system

So I was a little sceptical about buying this product but didn't want to go running lines through my house to install access points. My dad told me about the wireless mesh systems and after watching quite a few reviews I decided to go with Netgear Orbi AC2200. I was just needing something to give proper signal all the way to my most troublesome area of the house. Surprisingly it did the job and haven't had any issues. This is coming from someone that hasn't used Netgear in 12 years, but I highly recommend this product.

Orbi Is Awesome!!

I am a network savvy consumer. I can configure just about any hone with reliable Wi-Fi...but my family is not so blessed. After months of calls and frustration, I have up on the network I originally set up for a family member, and purchased the Orbi. I was hoping its "plug & play" setup would be easier for someone else to maintain. It did NOT disappoint. Once I determined the optimal placement for the satellites, the coverage has been near flawless. Thank you, Netgear! Your products remain my favorites for many reasons.
