does the job

After being on the hunt for something that works and can handle my wifi needs, this was the device for us. Orbi is simple to set up, works great and Wi-Fi has never been better. Have a 2400 sq foot house with no dead zones and signal reaches outside to just fine with my 11000 sq ft property. Understand that your devices will search for best signal at some point and Wi-Fi might turn off and on as you move around property but will function just fine (understand it's mesh of 2.4 and 5.0 signal). Highly recommend.

GREAT except for initial setup

When I got it finally fully operational, it completely changed the WiFi experience in my 3 level townhome. I've now got full, very fast signal all over the house.
If Netgear would improve the setup procedure and initially give you the option to clearly go into the web menu setup of the router instead of using their smartphone app, it would make the initial setup faster and easier.
The actual router/satellite system and its outstanding performance deserve 5 stars but the setup procedure drops it down to 4.

Best coverage ever!

I've previously had issues with signal strength in my 2 story house. When there are multiple devices being used simultaneously we would experience buffering the further away from the actual router we were, even with booster/extenders. I have a plan that has 250mbs, but usually only got that speed when I was in the room with the router. Since installing the Orbi, router and the 2 satellite units, I am getting 250 to 298mbs throughout the whole house, garage and both decks. They were incredibly easy to install!!!

Awesome solution

We have a two story home with significant impediments for normal WiFi propagation due to the construction of the house, and we have tried at least 8 different wireless router solutions prior to the Orbi system. This has resolved all of the previous issues. I love the flexibility, the level of control over all aspects of our network including the wireless (or wired, if so desired) backhaul design. The throughput is as advertised and the configuration is both powerful and comprehensive. Very happy with my purchase!

So much better

This WiFi system is so much better than what we had in the past! Our home is just under 3000sqft. We have never had great connectivity in our bedroom and now it's awesome! We have 4 using phones, 2 game systems, 2 smart TVs, and 2 laptops. Stays connected and barely can tell when multiple devices are being used! My husband and I are both in college programs and it's so nice to not have to tell the kids to get off the devices that are keeping them entertained while we do assignments! So happy with our purchase!

Revolutionized my home

I purchased an indoor security camera but my internet connection couldn't support it even on low quality. Speed tests consistently showed less than 10 mbps, sometimes less than 2, despite me paying for 100 mbps. Moreover, there were several spots in the house that had very spotty coverage. I thought the cable company was doing something nefarious. I decided to try out the Orbi to be sure. It revolutionized my internet. I now consistently get speeds between 80 and 120 mbps all over the house. It has been phenomenal.

GREAT Product for BIG Houses

We have a 3 level 4500 square foot home, and a standard wifi connection just doesn't cover it. I had used an Extender product, but the problem was having to log into different Wifi names depending on where you were with the house. With the Orbi the whole house is covered with no dead spots!!! One wifi name, so no matter where I am in the house - the wifi works. We live remotely, so we use our wifi for cell phone access, so the Orbi has made that seamless as well. It was VERY easy to install. Love this product!

Tri-band RULES!

The Orbi is a godsend! I hadn't realized how unstable my previous WiFi network was. Recycling power to keep tablets, phones and media streamers connected. It's been just six days of STABLE, STRONG WiFi connection. 4200 square feet of living space bathed in connection and not once hearing my wife yell downstairs that her phone has lost connection. The set-up was easy. I downloaded the app and I reviewed all my connected devices. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.
