Orbi Router and Plug In Satelites

I have a fairly small house, about 2000 square feet but my router is in an upstairs bedroom on one end of the house. I have a home office there and need the Ethernet Ports for my work computers. Anyway, my wifi on the first floor was always poor to non-existent. I have the Orbi Router with the 2 plug in satellites on the first floor, I now have full speed wifi everywhere. It was very easy to set up, I used the Desktop App which is easy since my main desktop is connected to the Router with an Ethernet Cable.

Best internet experience ever!

With my new orbi I am able to surf the Web allow my smart home to be utilize greatly. I have Internet service on the 2nd floor in every Room in the hallway, stairwell, downstairs, front door, to the back door, in my garage even in the 4th garage Bay where I have a diagnostic system running on the Wi-Fi and it is awesome. I also allow the kids to use it on the out door kitchen when they are having a sleepover or camping in the backyard. My new Orbi covers my entire property and almost 100 ft beyond by property.

Very Pleased

We had tried a couple of different wireless routers over the past few of years. None of them, even coupled with an extender, could get us great connection throughout our house. Our house is about 4,000 sq ft, and this mesh system gets a consistent and strong signal throughout. The initial set-up was very easy. I would also recommend downloading the free app, which is really convenient for firmware updates and checking your connection. It's only been a week, but so far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Orbi RBK40 Amazing!

Prior to purchasing the Other RBK40 we were using another brand of router along with an extender. We still had issues getting WiFi to all areas of our home and the multiple SSID (4 to be exact w/ 2ghz/5ghz) was wreaking havoc. Orbi solved all of these issues instantly! No more dead zones and no more dealing with multiple network names (SSID). The Orbi is also a breeze to set up. Had my whole system up and running in about 15 minutes even accounting for some more advanced changes that I prefer. Highly recommend!

Great piece of equipment

Been talking about putting in mesh system for at least a year. This was a great price at Sam's Club. Once the unit was hooked up it took about 10 minutes to get the whole system functional. My problem was having the modem and router at one end of a 2500 sq ft house and it was not near an outside deck. This mesh system is transparent to the user and speeds are the same all over the house and slightly a little less outside where it was not available until this system was installed. Very happy with my selection.

Easy and Powerful Upgrade

Moving from the convenient ease of Apple's Airport Extreme, I first went with an Asus product. It was not user friendly to the apple eco-system (apple tv remote app and airplay). I returned it and chose the Orbi system. The Orbi is everything a home networking system should strive to be. The setup is very intuitive and much easier than my old apple routers. All of my apple and non-apple equipment works flawlessly. I've already recommended this to my neighbors and family. I'm very satisfied with the performance.

Huge boost in strength and speed

I recently added the "1 gig" cable internet service from WOW. I was using the provided 1G Arris cable modem/router for about 3 weeks with woeful performance - wifi speeds ranging from 40 - 220 Mbps, and a signal strength that was "poor" over most of the 2400 sq ft house. After researching options, I decided to buy the Netgear Orbi router system. It was simple to connect to the cable modem, and has provided wifi download speeds of 500 - 700 Mbs and a very strong signal all over the house. A great investment!

I have all my WiFi devices setup to my Orbi system and there is a huge improvement on my internet speed. Each device has its own line so there is no slowdown when using various devices at one time. I recommend this product if you are tired of your internet slowing down because family members are using their WiFi devices all at the same time. I have 6 devices all linked to my Orbi and there is no slowdown. Best investment I have made since cutting my cable. I steam everything so I really need the Orbi. Thanks
