Way better WIFI

I consider myself tech illiterate but I do like to use the I internet as a phone, read articles, and share pictures so this is the extent of my use. I have terrible phone service and my husband is deployed overseas on a regular basis so I need internet to video chat with him. With this new Orbi I can walk around outside our house and throughout the house with no trouble. I think I will get a wireless home security system now since my internet is so dang good!

ORBI Changed My Life!

Before I received my Orbi system, working in my home office was an an ordeal. Constant reconnections were a way of life. I couldn't do live webinars for my home business without the connection dropping. Normal online business activities took forever to complete. I had to connect directly to the router in order for me to keep a connection. I've had my ORBI for a week and it's been fantastic and feels so good to work from my home office again without interruption!!

Great system

I have tried various configurations of netgear routers and access points previously and had little luck covering a large home with WiFi. The orbi system was super easy to set up, configure and get coverage. I did have to play with the location of the base stations due to interference, but once I found the sweet spot I had WiFi everywhere. I'm currently moving to a new house and I look forward to being able to plug in my Orbi system and have wireless on day one.

Solved my Coverage Problem

I have devices on three levels in my home and had coverage problems using a router and extensions. I wasn't pleased with throughput and found multiple network names to be confusing, especially to guests. The Orbi fixed it all, and I the ability to use Alexa to create and bring down open, guest networks on the fly makes my home internet-friendly for guests. The only problem I had with Orbi was finding the best place to situate my hubs. I recommend this product.

Good so far

I got the Orbi to make sure I have full WiFi coverage in my house while being able to plug in key items to the Ethernet ports. This works well for me and I have the satellite hard wired to the router. I have probably not taken full advantage of the features yet but suspect I will use more as I continue. The set up was very easy to perform. The only issue is the limited number of Ethernet ports on the router, especially if you use one for connecting the satellite.

At Last! Wi-fi in every room.

We have a large house with internet coming into the main part, then sends signal to the 'wings' of the house, upstairs and down. Until I purchase the Orbi, there was no signal upstairs and a weak signal in the wings. I had the best Linksys system out there, but it was nothing compared to this mesh. We can now run our business from one wing and stream videos from the other. And, for the first time ever, we have a signal upstairs! yay. Worth every single penny.

Must have home WiFi system for smart home

Upgraded from TP-Link repeater, and what an improvement. Broadband speed is constantly at or exceed 100 Mbs on all locations (5000+ sqft), and we have so many devices connected to the WiFi System: Arlo with 6 cameras, Samsung hardwired security camera (4K system), 6 ipads, 2 IPhones, 3 desktops, 8 smart switches, 4 smart plugs, google home, 4 smart tvs that always streaming redbox/hulu/amazon movie or Netflix. Do yourself a favor and just upgraded to this system.

Replacement Worked

My old router was preforming poorly during streaming. So after much research, I selected ORBI RBK43 to replace the old router. The primary reason was the number of ethernet ports on the ORBI. However I have been extremely please with the performance and coverage of the new router. There are 18 devices using the ORBI and the grandkids bring more on the weekends. Also the ease of the initial setup was simple and quick (20 minutes). I am Very pleased with the ORBI.
