Good coverage and download speed

Have upstairs office and large stone fireplace in middle of house which was blocking single older wifi unit. The NetGear main with 2 aux units covered the whole house, upstairs and patios with coverage that processed the rated download speeds in all locations. Very happy with that and was straight forward on set up. I just followed directions on APP and got all 3 units sync'd in 10 minutes. Twelve devices tie to wifi in the house. All work well.

When I decided to go with a mesh router to improve the wifi coverage at my home, I read all the reviews and specs, because that is what engineers do. The third radio band stood out as an advantage on the Orbi and it hasn't disappointed. After installation, I compared the speed test results between wired and wifi in each room and found there was no measureable difference between the two. Finally, no more complaining from my family about bad wifi!!

Huge Difference

I can't believe how fast my new Orbi system is. I replaced the modem/router that was given to me by the cable company. It couldn't handle the amount of traffic in my home. The Orbi takes everything I throw at it and just laughs in my face. I have approximately 20 devices running on the WiFi at all times and it's as smooth as if only one device is attached. I would recommend this system to anyone who needs the most reliable WiFi experience.

This is the future

I purchased this system because my old router (it was a modem router combo) could not supply my house with adequate WiFi coverage. I researched for hours and found that Orbi was always the winner in head to head competitions on some of the IT blogs that I frequent. I bought it to see what the big deal was and wow! I am amazed! Not only is it easy to use and set up (it took less than 10 mins) but my entire house and even my entire property has WiFi

I have used other routers along with extenders, but Orbi beats them all. I have constant uninterrupted wifi through out the house now. Also network ports comes with each unit allows me to connect devices directly, which works out well with my voip phone connected to a fax machine. I like the Guest Wifi option and ability to manage the network remotely. I am planning to add Netgear Arlo also to the mix for wireless home security camera monitoring.

I had my doubts about buying a mesh WiFi system but I am so glad I bought the ORBI. Setup was a breeze. I have a 4,400sqft 2 story house and ORBI gives me coverage everywhere throughout the house, even in the garage and driveway. I have Xfinity for my internet and I average 175mbps anywhere in the house. I have been using it for a few weeks and I have not encountered any issues. I have already recommended the ORBI setup to other friends and family.

Best Mesh Wifi

Looking at all the reviews online, I bought the Velop which turned out to be a huge mistake. It had worse signal than my old single router and speeds were only good very close (15-20 feet) to the Velop. So after returning it I brought home the Orbi. Finally. This is what I had in mine when I thought of Mesh Wifi. I have very fast speeds in the whole house (2 story, 3100sqft) and most importantly amazing coverage. It is currently the system to beat.

We have a 2 level 4 bedroom house with 100Mbps service at the house. Recently upgraded from 2 Airport Extreme devices to Orbi and our usable speeds on our devices is through the roof..using Speed Test, we are now at or above 100Mbps on every device...previously sub 2-5 Mbps on a routine basis. Turned previous dead spots into wifi super-hot-spots! I set all devices to stream Netflix and even when scrubbing throughout the movie, no-buffer. Amazing.
