We purchased the Orbi after doing much research and reaching out to others who have the product. After a few weeks I can tell a difference in our connection with many devices connected to our AT&T router. I recommend that if your unsure of the product to read reviews and do research online. It was very helpful for us in making a decision that we felt was good for our family.

No more dead spots or dropped Wi fi

We have a 2 story 3,100 soft home and the modem is at the far end of the house in a closet. Before the Orbi coverage was spotty even with a Linksys PLE400 that worked through the electrical wires. This Orbi system has a strong signal in every room of the house, including outside in the front and pack patio. No more unplanned bet flix intermissions and super fast browsing.

We were using APs in a 7,800sqft space and had dead zones esp in outdoor areas and corners of the house. The Orbi system has better coverage, no more dead zones, and the speed is better. Very pleased. Plus, I really like the phone app that lets me check internet speed, connectivity of my Orbi network, as well as being able to control what devices are connected to my network.

Fixed all my WiFi problems!

I was using the modem/router that Comcast gave me. For several weeks I was constantly losing my internet. I would have to disconnect and reconnect to get any internet. I bought an Orbi router that came with one 'satellite' router and it immediately fixed all my WiFi problems. That was about a week ago and I've not had any problems since. I highly recommend this product.

Great setup

I have messed with several routers lately and by far, this was the easiest to setup and the speeds are great. I though I was paying for 100 MBs service until this setup and only getting 30-40 MBs when I now average 140Mbs. The connection is always stable (assuming my ISP does their job) and my range is great. I may add another satellite to increase range outside the home.

I have always been a Cisco Linksys type of guy, but I have to tell you... I bought the AC2200 Orbi WiFi system from Netgear just because I was getting tired of NOT having a strong enough signal through out my home. Now I could not see using any other device... I am getting speeds between 80 to 100 down 10 15 up, and yet with my Linksys I struggled to get 80 at any given time.

So far so good

I had to return the first one I bought due to a hardware issue. The second one was acting funny during the app iPhone setup. I ended up using the laptop hardlined to complete the setup. I have been using for about a week now and so far so good. I have better signal and it goes further then my old router modem combo. I would recommend to any having distance or spotty internet.

Only took a 5 minutes to unpack and physically set-up (simple). Then I utilized the browser to set-up virtually in about 10 minutes (FYI- I downloaded the app later...to monitor). Finally, it took about 30 minutes to do speed tests (fast) and get everything situated in the right place. It is SO GREAT to FINALLY have a strong WiFi signal across the ENTIRE house and yard (happy)!
