Awesome picture quality. Both 4k uhd and 1080p hd content look amazing on this TV. YouTube and some apps do crash once in a while which is annoying. The smart remote is not fully integrated with some apps like Netflix, using the arrow keys to move around the menu is not so smart.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

60" Samsung UHD 3D

The picture is great. I would say I was expecting more from UHD than a stand HD TV. Depending on what you watch, the UHD does not do anything for the picture. To get the most from the picture, you would really need to watch bright, colorful movies and shows. The clarity is excellent, even during fast action scenes. Tweaking of the picture color is a must to get it just right for your personal satisfaction. The speakers on the TV are very low. You would definitely need to purchase a sound bar. Which is what I believe the goal was by producing such small, low sound speakers. Overall, this is a great product that could be a stepping stone to a Superb product.

First time WIFI TV owner

When it came time to upgrade to a "Smart" TV, I took the time to research and read reviews. Every site I went to, this make and model always had more positive then negative reviews, both from owners and editors. It was also the best TV for me based on the cost to size ratio. Similar sized TV's did not have as many good reviews as this model and many were priced higher.
I look forward to several years of watching content on this terrific Television!

I thought it would be difficult to set up the TV. But it was very simple, Samsung made the process quick and easy.

Great TV

This is my second Samsung TV, so I already know that they are very reliable. My old TV was about 12 years old and still ran perfectly. I got this one because I wanted to upgrade to a 4K. The picture is amazing. I am particularly impressed with how well murky scenes are displayed. Most movies and TV shows seem to have several scenes that are shot in very low light. With this TV, I can actually see what's happening.
Later on, this form asks what other Samsung products I love. Samsung is always my first choice. I have a Galaxy and a refrigerator.

Coming from a 9 year old DLP TV, it's amazing to see and enjoy the clarity that the Samsung 8550 provides.

This TV is not smart enough to use an Apple Ipad or Iphone to Wi-Fi connect for video streaming.
Very few apps.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
