Great Sound with a Stylish Look

I've had these speakers for about a week and a half now and they've been great. The setup was simple and they work perfectly. They also look very nice on my desk as an added bonus. I highly reccomend these speakers.

Having owned a number of computer and digital type related speakers throughout the years....I must say....the sound from the "Sticks" was simply amazing....the room filling bass....filling out my man cave.....and this coming from a man who has set up 10 sonos speakers in the main system.

Third set of Soundsticks.

This is my third set of SoundSticks. The only reason I have bought three over the past ~20 years is that due to my clumsiness I typically knock over the sticks and break one of them. At this point I have three working subwoofers. I have yet to find any other system that comes close to the sound quality of this system.

This is my second set. Thanks to DELL, I blew the bass speaker so I ordered another set. I love the looks and the sound!

After hooking everything up (same as the SoundSticks this order was replacing), there was no sound. That was the same problem with the previous SoundSticks. I reviewed troubleshooting, double-checked all connections, still no sound. Then I happened to notice a blurb in one of the illustrations, mentioning the “plus” and “minus” buttons on one of the satellite speakers. I hit the plus button and, voilá, there was sound. Then I thought, what if the previous speakers weren’t kaput after all. I hooked them back up — no sound — so I hit that little “plus” button and they worked! So I now have two perfectly good sets of SoundSticks, one in use and one back in its box. I can’t really blame Harman/Kardon, but it might have helped to have that button mentioned in the troubleshooting section.
