This is the only electric razor that I can use without skin irritation.The ability to wet shave is a pleasure not afforded by many other brands. What amazes me is that I can get a barber quality shave in five minutes. Eazy to clean and maintain,and a pleasure to own.

RECEVED RAZER AS A GIFT RAZOR WAS VERY ROUGH ON FACE CALLED SERVISE AND ADVISED TO SEND FOR REPAIR. AFTER 2 WEEKS RECIVED A NEW ONE AND IY WORKS GREAT, CLOSEST SHAVE WITH ANY RAZOR I HAVE USED AT MORE THEN TWICE THE PRICE.

I received a free sample of this razor in exchange for a review. I have been using a combination of electric/traditional manual blades for my shaving needs for roughly a decade. The electric razor that I've been using up until now is mediocre compared to this Philips razor. I imagine that electric razor technology has improved in general over the last ten years, but I'm extremely happy with this razor and I don't know if I even need my traditional blade anymore. I shaved with this razor on my dry skin after 72 hours of not shaving, and it cut through my facial hair like butter. It's awesome. It says in the directions to wait a few weeks to allow my skin to get used to it, but my skin required no adjustment period whatsoever. I also tried the razor in combination with shaving gel and it works even better with that. I'm really happy with this razor, so I guess I'll throw away my old one and stop buying expensive replacement blades.

Best electric shave I've gotten

I was given a free shaver to try out. At first, I was skeptical since I have had a lot of success using my trimmer/outliner shaver for shave my face and head. But I was intrigued and up for trying a new product. I'm really happy I did.
I have an allergy to inert metal so I can't use your regular razor (whether reloadable cartridges or disposables). My shave with my trimmer/outliner electric razor gets me "clean enough", but always left behind a stubble, which has gotten more noticeable as I've gotten gray.
The Shaver I received was easy to set up once I got it out of the package. I charged it and gave it a use. To be fair, I only shave dry, in my bathroom sink. I clicked the power button and pressed it against my face. You have to press it down against your skin to really get the hair out, but you're rewarded for taking that extra care. My skin hasn't been this smooth since I got a straight edge shave at the barber. It was noticeable to me and my wife, who loves it - so much so that she wants me to shave my whole head with it (I'm resisting the urge for now). I spend about 10 minutes to shave my beard and mustache and the battery runs strong the whole time.
With the touch of a button, the head pivots up (it's spring released) for easy cleaning of the blades and removal of your built up hair. I really would recommend it (I'm thinking of getting one for my brother with similarly sensitive skin) as it really is the closest electric shave I gotten.

Great daily shaver

I received a free Philips Norelco Series 3000 shaver 3500 to review. I am writing this review to give some feedback on the pros and cons of this item. First off this is a very well built shaver. The construction is great and you can tell this is a durable product when you pick it up. The operation is very straight forward and is easy to use and clean. The three heads cover a huge amount of area so it makes shaving quick and easy. It charges quickly and has enough power to last a few cuts without a recharge. I was a bit hesitant with the clean up after each use. I can say it is a lot easier than you might think. Pop the top off and run under water. The cutting heads are comparable in price to regular shavers when you consider you only have to change them out once a year.
I have been using this product for about 2 weeks. I think using a shaver should be not just a onetime use and then you can rate it. After using it the first time I realized that using just water was not going to work for my skin/hair type. Follow the directions and use only the recommended products to apply to your face. My hair was about ¼ inch long at the time. The product was great cutting the hair on my cheeks and was smooth when I was done. The neck line was a different story. It took a bit longer to cut the hair and it seemed to cut very patchy. The next few times I shaved I did it with the hair length as more of short stubble. This was a lot better when I was using this method. It cut clean and was great. The only thing that I did not care for is the trimmer that is attached. It did not cut as close as a regular pair of clippers. This is a five star product!
I think this product is great and would recommend to others to use.

This is my 4th Philips Norelco shaver, and I wouldn't have another. The only inconvenient item is that you can't operate it while charging. A low battery indicator would be nice to have.
Pros: very smooth shave
