Great Features, Great Price

Philips Norelco Series 3000 Shaver 3500 is a great product. The fact that it is able to be used wet or dry is a great feature. While it does not get the closest possible shave, it does a very good job of keeping the face clean looking. I really liked the added pop up trimmer for maintaining clean lines for my sideburns, but after using it I found it to not be as good as it should. The shaver felt very light weight, which made shaving overall very easy. I have tried some of the more expensive types of electric shavers and this one does a great job of keeping up with those. The best part about this product is the strong battery life and the easy cleaning features. I did not experience any skin irritation with this product, which was amazing to see. The only real con was that the time it took me to completely shave has increased. Obviously you get a little better quality from the more expensive versions, but this one still performs great. The charging cord is not cumbersome and for travelling the unit is an ok size. Overall, the features and quality of this product were great, but I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review.
Pros: comfortable size, decent shave, charge lasts
Cons: trimmer could be better

This shaver has more features and does give a better shave. I truly like the amount of time before recharging and able to rinse it in water.

I will let you know I was sent a free sample of this shaver to test and this is my unbiased review of the Philips Norelco Series 3000 Shaver 3500. I have had this shaver for 10 days now and to let you know it is a great close shave shaver with dual action blades that do a great job of get hairs in odd corners of the face. I tried both the charger letting it run down and it lasted just about between 35 to 40 minutes without a recharge and I tried the quick charge function it takes around 3 minutes but worked well lasted about an hour after quick charge was done. I like the sleek design and smooth action it gave on my face when I used it. The blades are easy to clean either by brush or washing they are safe to do that. I like the shaver and would recommend for anyone that likes to get a close shave the first time around.
Pros: gives a great shave first time around, easy to clean heads with brush included or water

Best shaver for the price

I received the Phillips Shaver 3500 free in exchange for providing a review. I have used other electric shavers, both cheaper and more expensive. I have purchased and used an earlier model of this shaver, and overall found the newer model to be an improvement. The battery lasts substantially longer, and if it is low, a quick minute or two plugged in gave it enough charge to get the job done. The one disadvantage compared to my old model is that it cannot be used when plugged in. This is not truly as significant because of the long battery life and quick charging ability. The blades seemed to cut better and smoother than my older model. I found that it glides around my face very easily when my face is dry, though it tends to be less easy when I am just out of the shower. I don't know if that is due to wetness, or a change in my skin. The shaver advertises that it works on wet or dry skin (not actually in the shower), so I don't know if that's what they're talking about. I haven't tried with any kind of shaving gels, since I don't use them.
Overall, I would recommend this product over any similarly priced model.

I have been using Norelco shavers for many years and find that the shaver lasts for years without any problems. I decided to upgrade to replace my old Norelco shaver. I would recommend any product that Norelco makes. Its a great buy!

Well designed and holds a charge a long time. The floating heads shave closely if you use a pre-shave product beforehand. The motor is a bit noisier than the Phillips-Norelco product I replaced this with.
