better than the old dvd players we upgraded to this blue ray player for the lg 3d tv great for the price you wont go wrong with this player. a++++

Good to Excellent blu-ray/dvd player

I can easily switch to play either Blu-Ray or DVDs on this player. Controls easy to use. Has some noise when unit is seeking the correct disc (blu-ray or dvd) you can hear after tray closes back into player. That noise stops soon and is not disruptive to playback. Good product for price.
Pros: easy to use

Slow navigation between function and voice out of

The unit is very slow between switching inputs and setting up wifi. The streaming often looses sound all together and you have to go back a few frames to re-sync sound with picture. There have been 3 firmware updates and they still have not resolved the issue.
I do not have this problem with Wii's streaming features so I have concluded its exclusive to LG Blue Ray player.
Pros: needs work, out of sync
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I paired this player with my LG 55" 3D Smart TV.
Did not need wireless connectivity the TV has it. I wanted to be able to view 3D movies. Great combination for 3D viewing.

Don't let the small price fool you because this player runs and plays with the big boys!

My first LG product and I could not be more pleased. My first 3D bluray player and it is just as good as any other brand I have viewed.
I definitely recommend an LG bluray 3D player to anyone.
