Bezel is disappointing

I am disappointed with the product, just for one reason and thats BEZEL. The description says "3 Side Near-Edgeless design" and pictures also shows plastic 2mm bezel around the screen at top and side; where as it has additional 7 mm on-sreen border that effective bezel of 9mm. One can notice it once the screen is swtiched on, that it does not have a corner to corner display. I tried with both HDMI and DP cable, same result. Unfortunately, the scaling option in on-screen menu is greyed out. I'll be returning the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its not as great as it seems

I bought this monitor (two, actually) after reading the reviews. The following reasons were why I bought it:
- 10bit panel
- Ships from Canada
- Buttons on the front

Well, all of the above are wrong, or partially wrong.
- Its not a 10 bit panel. Its an 8bit. Some people say its 8+2FRC, but there is no options under NV Control Panel to reflect this (after different HDMI/DP cables)
- It does NOT ship from Canada. It ships from the US and then gets held up in customs. This was a blatant lie from Lenovo.
- The buttons are strange. They are convinient, but the controls for UP-DOWN are backwards, so it seems to lead for more frustrating.

- It does NOT ship from Canada. It ships from the US and then gets held up in customs. This was a blatant lie from Lenovo.

On top of this, the screen just looks awful. Its very blurry for a 1440p monitors and its skips frames and ghosts super easily.
Not worth it at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw some previous reviews about this monitor and I was worried about how thick my monitor bezel would be. When my monitor arrived I was extremely revealed and measured the bezel to be 2mm. I got this monitor for working at home and it’s been absolutely wonderful for the past 3 months.

Nice, big monitor; not shiny, so no reflections of your background while working. It has a 2mm frame on the sides and the top and 23mm on the bottom, but another 7mm of the sides and top are black when in use.
The only thing I don't like is that the power and HDMI cables are plugged in from the bottom and get bent quite a bit. I would prefer them to be on the back side of the monitor.

Decent screen. Biggest problem is that it does not come with a VESA mount (contrary to one of the Q&As which suggested that it did). Very disappointed in that. Stand does not lift. Also, the settings are a bit weird such that you cannot adjust brightness in 'video' mode, which has my preferred white balance setting. You can adjust brightness in 'web' mode, but it has a yellowish shade. Basically, there is no way to adjust brightness with the correct shade of white. Also, the buttons get stuck and do not pop back out sometimes. You can still get it work, but it feels like poor quality. Other than that, it's ok. The resolution is very good. However, in retrospect, wish I went with the P27 instead (though it was sold out at the time).

the screen is very clear anf looks amazing, however, the stand is very unstable to support the weight of the 27inch monitor. typing and mouse usage causes the whole screen to shake uncontrollably

Very happy with this monitor. I was shopping around for quite some time for a 1440p productivity monitor with an IPS screen/vesa mount. This monitor checks off all of the boxes for me. Very good color reproduction and pairs very well with my 34 inch wide alienware gaming monitor. The bottom chin is a bit thick but for the price and compared to what else is out there you cant really beat this.

The L27q-30 gives a bright and contrasted image, with the wide viewing angle I expect from the IPS technology. Its matte surface is resistant to glare and comfortable in the room where I use it. The only downside for me is the stand, which tilts but does not allow height adjustment.
