Great Machine...BUT...

Loved this machine and the splendid coffees from Nespresso.
Then...it started leaking after 9 months.
In looking at the Nespresso products this is a common problem.
Would get another, but am afraid it will also leak and it is a MESS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dead too many times.

Repaired twice and dead again. Now it’s the red light. These machines are terrible quality. I know, Reach out to Nespresso, I have and they say the same thing, it’s not under warranty so purchase a new one. The pods are costly enough but replacing a machine every couple years makes this a joke.

I bought this item 14 months ago and similar to the prior review, the one I have leaks. The machine ran well for roughly 12 months, then suddenly started leaking. The machine leaks roughly 1/5 of each cup coffee. Not only is it nuisance, but it wastes coffee pods/money. I do not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Vertuo Machine. Hottest Coffee!

I'm actually very surprised by the majority of reviews here for this machine. I've had mine for at least 2 years and it still works perfectly. I chose this model due research between this and other Vertuo models and this one seems to brew the hottest coffee and produces the best foam.. like microfoam. I've actually continued to monitor comparisons to upgrade as new models have been released but none so far are as good as this one. Great buy! The only thing I would change would be to add an automatic milk froth wand on a Vertuo such as is included on the Creatista. If I were to buy a Vertuo for a friend, would be this model. If were to recommend an Original line machine, would be the Creatista.

Starts leaking. Avoid at all costs

Great coffee but same results like the other posts

The VertuoPlus was a mother's day gift from my kids. It would leak occasionally. After 4 months of regular use, I had de-scaled the machine which helped with the leaking. I had just de-scaled it again last week and during the process, the machine kept shutting off; it took 4 hours to de-scale the VertuoPlus! Now the machine will only brew 1.5 oz with the 7 oz pod and the brew button blinks red and the lid will not open once the blinking stops. I've only had the machine for 11 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Coffee Ever Now I’m Spoiled

Got this 7 months ago & honestly I can’t go without coffee from my machine. Pretty much won’t drink anything else. I wish I could take it with me when I visit with family but it’s a tad big for that. Maybe I’ll buy a smaller one (but the reviews on those are not great). But this machine for the price is awesome!

I have had this machine over 3 yrs——brews 2 cups/day, extra when family/friends are over.It leaked a bit at about the the 3 mon period,but stoped after one week,and never again.—-I would consider this as my second best value/$$ buy,next to iPad/iPhone
