Love the Ease Of Use and Recyled Materials
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a daily coffee drinker, so I was thrilled to be chosen to review the Nespresso Vertuo Next. I've gone from a regular drip coffee maker, to Keurig, and now the Vertuo Next.
Right off, I love the that the packaging and Nespresso Machine are made mainly with recycled materials. The packaging consists of 95% recycled material and is also 99% recyclable. The machine itself is made with 40% recycled plastic and of course, the pods are also recyclable. This speaks to Nespresso's sustainability commitment.
Set up was very simple, I did the first rinsing as shown in the booklet, plugged in the machine and, brewed my first cup. There are QR codes with links to videos included, if that is more your style. Either way, settting up and using the Vertuo Next is counterintuitive.
The machine has a slim build to take up less counter space and the white color fits in well with most color schemes. I did find that once you add the cup holder, it is somewhat long, but it still fits comfortably on most counterspaces. There are 3 slots for the cupholder attachment, and one can easily switch it to fit your cup, mug or carafe. I found it pretty nifty how the used pods come out and drop into the chute/container area when you lift the lid after brewing. This makes it easy to store and then recycle once the pods have cooled down.
My coffee was bold and flavorful, much better than other methods of brewing I have tried before. The layer of foam on top makes every cup a little extra special. I do love the machine and I enjoy using it. As a daily coffee drinker, the price of the pods/capsules are more expensive than other competing models and it definitely adds up. In the current economy, the price of the capsules makes one think twice about investing in a coffee brewer like this. If you are very serious about your coffee and fancy yourself a home barista, then by all means this machine is a good option. With many different flavor and size options, it makes it simple to customize and create a very tasty brewed drink that is comparable to a coffee shop at a slightly lower cost. I would have liked a button on the machine to choose water temp, because I prefer my coffee a bit hotter, but overall I was impressed with the ease of use, slim build, design, and recycled materials of the Vertuo Next. While I may not use it daily due to the costs of the capsules, I will definitely treat myself on the weekends or when I have company over.

Espresso-mazing
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso pod machine is a game changer. I have a traditional espresso machine but the convenience this machine offers is amazing. I first set it up in my home but decided my work would benefit from this machine.
I have it sitting near my desk and can enjoy an espresso any time of day now and so can my coworkers. I have not had a chance to try every flavor pod available but I really enjoy the cold experience pods for my iced drinks.
The machine takes about a minute and a half to brew the espresso. The coffee comes out very frothy which was an unexpected treat from this little machine. It makes for a really tasty and foamy iced espresso.
This machine is compact and easy to clean and maintain. I would recommend this to any coffee lovers looking for a quick espresso fix.

Great size, good coffee
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. We are coffee snobs in our house and have tried our fair share of single/quick serve coffee machines. Our old pod brewer officially kicked the bucket recently so this was perfectly timed for us. The Vertuo Next takes up about half the space on our counter that the old machine did and looks clean in our pantry/among our other appliances. It brewed as expected, had good foam at the top of the coffee when brewed, and came out hot enough. I appreciate that it disposes of the pods as you open the machine and that it has a “tank” to hold spent pods so you don’t have to do it each time. They also have a recycling program so you don’t have to throw the pods out. The tray to hold your cup as you brew is sturdy and I like that it has 3 height options, some only have 1 or two. This would look great in a variety of settings/with a variety of decor styles and the small footprint makes it great for a variety of spaces. I would consider taking it to work but we are not allowed to have items with heating elements in personal areas. The coffee tasted good, better than the pod brewer it replaced, but not quite a coffee shop/barista level (to be expected since it is still a pod-based system). The reservoir has a good capacity depending on what size pods you are typically brewing, if you are frequently doing larger pods then you will obviously have to refill more often. It’s on the smaller size compared to other pod brewers but again, since the design emphasis is on having a small footprint, this makes sense. I also like how you don’t have to turn it “off” when you’re done, you just leave it and it shuts off automatically.
I gave this machine 4 stars for a couple of reasons:
- The “lid” is very hard to close and start one-handed, you kind of have to push down on it while you engage the slider from “open” to “closed”. I was worried at first that I had broken something but after a couple tries it seems this is just how it is. I’ve never interacted with a pod brewer that required two hands to get the lid down.
- the water chamber being at the back of the machine is great for taking up a smaller footprint but is a little harder to get to depending on your set up. For us, this machine lives mostly under a shelf, so it’s awkward to reach behind to put the reservoir back, or an extra step to move the whole machine out to be able to access it.
- The “cup tray” is sturdy for brewing/holding a cup but can be easily dislodged if you bump it from the side while not in use, this hasn’t been an issue while we’re brewing coffee but we have knocked it off the machine while working near the machine.
Overall we’re happy with this item and look forward to the use we will get out of it. I would recommend this to others depending on the price/promotions available and what space they were trying to use it in.

Worth the counter space?
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the machine was quite dusty, I believe as a result of the packaging, so after a good and thorough wipe down I placed it in a similar position as my previous machine. Though this is significantly smaller so takes up less counter space (love this!), the tank being in the back made it harder to access in this position so after a test drive I actually reoriented it to be parallel with my backsplash wall. This made it easier to access both the water and the discard bin but now takes up more counter space than my original machine. Perhaps a trade off I can live with? Yet to be seen.
During making, there is a bit of noise but not at all unbearable. Coffee is smooth, clean, with any mess fully contained and the adjustable cup ledge minimizes any splashing that could occur depending upon if you’re making a shot or full cup. Taste is a personal preference but there are so many great options it’ll be easy to find a fit for the mood of the day.

Great machine but LOUD when brewing
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Nespresso Vertuo Next machine for awhile now and at first, I was a little intimidated by it. It's a sleek, attractive, easy to assemble machine with 1 button. Very different than what I'm used to. This machine is bluetooth compatible between your smart phone, the machine and the brand app which I downloaded. You can program cup sizes on the machine, too. The app has easy to follow tutorials on how to use the machine, recipes to try, and you can order pods from there. This machine is easier to use than I first thought. It's definitely geared towards a specific coffee drinker. If you love espresso and want to take the guess work out of making it plus save some cash by drinking espresso at home versus a Shop, then this machine is for you. The pods are aluminum and the machine punctures holes in the top, all around the pod and in the middle. This machine takes 30 seconds to heat up, it reads the pod somehow (the website has an explanation of this) and brews the perfect amount of coffee depending on the pod. As it dispenses, the coffee foams up, or as the company claims as a crema. The only thing I hate about this machine is how LOUD it is when brewing. It's obnoxiously loud.

Nespresso is the way to go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box was nasty on the I side as you can see. It needs better wrapping around the product. It looked as if had dirt all over it. As for the product itself it does have a noise to it louder than what I expected. It is very fast to get everything put together and love how small the machine is. The cord though could be longer just a bit. This machine heated up very fast and the sizes you can use with the holder worked really good. From hot to cold that is the way to go.

What an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Nespresso machine before so I was really excited to try a newer model. An absolute gamer changer! To start just opeinging and closing the machine is so much easier, the dump canister is easier to get too, and the water reservoir is much easier to get too. The machine worked on the first try where our old model wouldn’t always take the pod and we were losing money. The construction is solid and I’m very excited to put this back into my daily rotation!

Coffee Game Upped!
on February 21, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Nespresso Vertuo Next! It is such an easy setup. Pop the pod in and push the button. Brews so fast. A fairly quiet machine. So durable and sturdy. When brewing is finished, open the lid and the pod immediately is dispensed in the trash bin. Thank you Influenster for this fantastic complimentary Nespresso! You have upped my coffee game.
