It will break and coffee will leak out the back!

I had one leak out the back in the first year and it was replaced. Bought a second one thought it was great they fixed it. After a year second one same thing. Coffee is great but machine is a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing

Disappointing. Loved my Nespresso Evoluo which is going on 6 years old. I thought this newer model would be an improvement, but it definitely is not. The crema dissipates almost immediately. I also thought being able to move the water tank from one side to the other would be beneficial but it is awkward and the container does not seem very secure. It is not that it doesn't work. I am just not impressed with the overall design of the machine and although it may be my imagination, without the crema, the coffee just doesn't seem to taste as good.

Buyer beware

I have had this machine for 7 months and it works great although you will have to throw out your espresso cups if they are small. The machine makes a lot of crema and they will overflow. However my biggest compliant is that they have stopped making the carafe size coffee that was originally marketed with this machine. So buyer beware in another few months they could discontinue the cup size version etc. I was going to replace my second machine which is an original with the another Vertuo, but I won't now since who knows what coffee they will make for it in the future.

Thank you for your review, Rstde. We recommend visiting the VertuoPlus section of Nespresso.com/help to factory reset your VertuoPlus machine. This will ensure that your Espresso-sized capsules are brewed at a consistent 1.35 ounces.

While we have discontinued the 14 ounce Alto capsule, our 18-ounce Vertuo Next exclusive Carafe capsules are still in production, along with our 7.77 ounce, 5 ounce, and 2.7 ounce capsules. If you have any questions regarding your blends, or your VertuoPlus machine, please contact us at 800-562-1465. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I bought a brand new machine 2 weeks ago and brewed it only twice. The machine started to leak water

Don't buy this. Waste of money.

I finally threw this machine away. My wife bought it for me last December and I have struggled trying to get it to work reliably. So frustrating. I've tried cleaning, descaling, plugging-unplugging, turning off-turning on. Today I was so frustrated I took it out and put it in the trash can. What a piece of junk.

To ensure optimal use from your machine, we recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Bad quality of machines and overpriced

All nesspresso machines are pieces of junk. I could explain, I am user of different machines, and every time I ordered new because left over cofee. My last machine is leaking now and I try to fix it , clean it and it is still leaking. Very disappointed with overpriced Nespresso and very bad quality. In one word - Junk.

Leaks!!
