Terrible product, I'm on my 4th machine because it's a defected product line...just costing Nespresso money and my time. Annoying.

Plan to buy a new machine every year.

Great coffee if you don't mind purchasing a new machine every year. I absolutely love the coffee, but my first machine lasted 3 months. The replacement lasted 15 months. Now it is out of warranty and I'm on the hook if I want to use all these pods I've purchased. Grrrr.

I’ve had two of these machines and they both broke

If you’ve not paired your Vertuo Next with your smart device, we kindly ask that you pair your machine to your phone and check for any Firmware updates. If the Firmware update is successful we’d recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Nevertheless, we’ve arranged an escalated call back from a Machine Expert at the number we have on file for you and if you need assistance with your Vertuo Next machine, please do not hesitate to contact us through our toll-free number, 800-562-1465. Each machine comes with at least a one-year warranty and lifetime troubleshooting assistance. Callbacks can occur within 24-48 hours from being submitted. Thanks!

Going back to my old machine. This one is not great. Really hard to close. I actually thought it was broken, so I called and was told "yea, its really hard to close". Really? The water container is at the back, which I guess is designed to save space. But the lid does fall into the water container if you aren't careful. Emptying the pods is impossible. You tilt the container out and there is a second container inside for some odd reason. Takes both hands, and mostly is just nonsense, slides all over the place. Really surprised Nespresso put out such a machine.

Leaks

This machine leaks. I've sent it for repairs multiple times and they cannot fix it long-term. A few months of use, and it starts leaking again.

Requires patience

I was not happy with this machine as the grounds would get stuck and the machine’s dreaded orange light would come on. Even after cleaning and troubleshooting it would happen again relatively soon.

Don’t even bother

Literally owned this machine for 4 months , it broke down. They sent me a new one and it broke in a month. I did not even use it daily as I have my other espresso machine. Don’t waste your money

Great coffee. Terrible quality control.

I've had four Vertuo Next machines. I use the Next because it will takes the large capsules. All of them made great coffee. But each has failed within a year of purchase or exchange. When I tired of refurbished units, I just bought one again. IT LEAKS WATER all over the counter unless I pour in water just before brewing. The lever used to open and close the machine worked effortlessly at first. But within a few months it became harder and harder to move to the point now where I have to force it. VERY UNHAPPY!
